The Truth

"PLEASE LET ME COME TO YOUR HOUSE!" Daisy was on her knees begging to me. I felt so bad. I hadn't really been a good friend to Daisy but if she found out about Felix and Marzia she would just freak out and suck up to me. Well, I suppose it would make her happy to know that my parents are YouTubers. Maybe I should just tell her...

"PLEASE ELLIE!"

"Ok! Ok!" I finally said. Daisy jumped up and hugged me.

"Thankyou. Thankyou!"

"It's ok.." I awkwardly patted her on the back. She pulled away and I saw the extremely excited look on her face. There was no going back now.

"Erm.. should we carry on with Truth or Dare?" I asked.

"Yes! Ok!" Daisy leaped onto her bed and patted the spot beside her. I climbed on.

"So," Daisy said. "Truth or Dare?"

I hesitated. "Truth."

"Ok." She thought of a question for a minute. "Tell me your DEEPEST secret. I want to hear something interesting!"

How did I know that she would ask that? I chuckled to myself. "Ok, I will tell you but only if you promise not to tell anyone."

"I promise."

"I lived in a children's home for most of my life until a lovely couple called Felix and Marzia adopted me. They are better known as PewDiePie and CutiePieMarzia." I waited for a reaction. Daisy was just staring at me with a blank expression.

"Are you being serious?" She still had the same expression. I got up and pointed to the picture on her wall of Pewds and Marzia.

"Here, they are my parents." I stood there and stared back at her waiting for her to say something.

Daisy opened her mouth to speak. "So.... you are telling me that you live with PewDiePie and Marzia and that they are your parents."

"Yes."

She burst out laughing.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Ok tell me your actual secret now. That was funny but I want to know the real stuff." She looked serious now. I hesitated, not knowing what to say.

"Erm. I know it's really weird but.. I'm telling the truth. Felix and Marzia are my parents." I said. She looked confused.

After the sleepover, Marzia came to pick me up. Me and Daisy ran down the stairs when we heard the door bell ring. Daisy still wasn't sure about the news but I would prove it to her now. She opened the door to find Marzia standing there. Daisy's mouth hung open is disbelief. "Oh! Hi Marzia! I'm Daisy." She looked a little star struck.

Marzia smiled at Daisy and me. "Hi Daisy, I'm Ellie's mum. Are you ready to go, Ellie?" I nodded in response and stepped out of the house.

"Oh, Marzia? Can Daisy come over some time?" I asked.

"Yes of course she can! You could come over next week if you want to?"

"Yes! That would be amazing! Thankyou for coming, Ellie." Daisy frantically waved us off. Me and Marzia got into the car and drove home.
