" Brennen." I look at him.
" Your pregnant." He says under his breath.
" You weren't going to tell me!" He says louder.
I shut the door behind me and grab him to start walking.
" What do you not want your fucking parents to hear about this either!" He yells.
" Brennen I'm sorry."
" We're you even going to plan on telling me?" It was silent for a moment.
" No."
" Fuck! All this time I though I was the problem in our relationship! I really though it was my fault, but really it's been you! You were going to keep away a huge secret that I had a fucking child! Having split parents sucks ! Not knowing who your dad is, is probably worse. I Just don't understand you Alex."
" Brennen I know what I did was completely wrong and I'm so sorry I just thought you would leave me."
" you think that low of me?" He said hurt.
" I honestly don't know what to think, but Brennen I love you so much I'm sorry."
"I don't know if I love you more than you love me, I don't know if I love you less than you love me and I don't know if we love each other just the same. And I guess we'll never know because there will never be an objective measure of love. But what I know is that I love you with all that I have and if that's not enough then I'm sorry my love and my heart isn't enough, I'm not enough for you."
" Brennen you are enough for me."
" No Alex I'm so done, Right now all I care about right now is this baby. I just want to be a good father to this baby a father my dad never was. Maybe our paths will cross and we'll learn to get along more, but I just want to focus on the baby." He says calmly.
" Okay." I say
