Chapter 23

I woke up and smelt bacon and eggs. Who is here Garret wouldn't make Breakfast he would be sleeping in. My mom wouldn't be here early would she?

I open my door and so did Garret we look at each other really weird.

" Who is down stairs." I say quietly.

" I thought you were down there."

" I thought you were down there!" I say.

I went down stairs very curious to see who it was. I turn the corner and there was my dad, who I haven't see for 6 years.

" Alex." He says.

"D-dad." I cry out

I run up and hug him as tight as I could, I hugged him for all the days I have not seen him.

" I missed you so much." He says.

" I missed you too."

I wipe the tears away and my brother came down.

" hey dad what's up." Garret smiles.

He says it so simple because he has lived with him for so long. When my parents got divorced they had me go with my mom and my brother go live with my dad. My brother visited a lot because my dad was always busy my mom didn't want me to go visit my dad I don't know why.

" Hello son"

" does mom know your here?" I ask.

" yes I guess she didn't trust you guys."

I roll my eyes.

" I hear you have a boyfriend." My dad says.

" yeah I do."

" what's his name."

" his name is Brennen."

" Does he treat my daughter right."

" Yea he does." I laugh.

" good."

I got a message at the table while eating breakfast. Brennen said,

Brennen: Hey babe,Want to go out tonight?  I have to talk to you about something.

Me: yeah of course! Is everything okay?

Brennen: Everything is great! I will pick you up at 7 wear something warm.

Me: I love you.

Brennen: I love you more.

Me: I love you most!

Brennen: I love you mostest!

Me: I love you mostest times a billion times whatever you say!

Brennen: ...

I smile down at our conversation and my dad is looking right at me.

" Alex did you hear me?"

" what did you say?" I ask.

" what's your plans for tonight?"

" I'm going out with Brennen."

" very nice."

" Garret what are your plans?"

...

Brennen finally was here. I wonder where he is taking me? I also want to know what he wasn't a to talk to me about?

I heard a knock on the door from up stairs I ran down the stairs, but my dad had already answered the door.

" Hello you must be Brennen."

" yes, and you are?" Brennen asked.

" Rick I'm Alexes dad."

" oh nice to meet you sir." Brennen and him shake hands.

" okay now that you guys have met were leaving." I say grabbing Brennen.

" what time does she need to be home sir?" Brennen asked.

" I don't care I trust you guys." My dad says.

" bye dad."

" where are we going?" I ask.

" I don't really know I just wanted to look at the stars with you." Brennen smirks.

" I'm okay with that."

He stopped by the lake and we went onto the docks. The sky was beautiful and the lake was so pretty.

" What did you want to talk to me about?" I ask.

" It's a shooting star!" He points to the sky.

" Oh my god!"  I laugh.

" My dad wants to come see me, but he wants me-" it then started to poor rain interrupting what he was saying.

" Let's go back to the car your probably freezing."

" No I love it!" I say loudly so he can hear me.

" Promise me this will be forever." He holds both of my hands.

I look into his Green beautiful eyes and smile.

" I promise."

So if you haven't seen the vampire diaries there was a part like that and I just wanted to do that. I felt like Brennen and Alex just needed to have a good day without any arguments
