I was wearing my red short dress with my black converse. I went down stairs and grabbed my keys.
" where are you going." My brother asks me.
" to a party." I say.
" with who?"
" myself." I wonder if Brennen is going.
I went outside to my car unlocking it.
" Alex wait up!" Brennen says.
" what?"
" can I go with you, to the party."
" sure get in the car." I say.
I put the address in on my phone and started to drive.
" you know we never really talked about our kiss." I say.
" what's their to talk about, it was just a kiss."
Ouch!
" you told me you liked me."
" Alex I was joking I can't believe you actually believed me!" He laughed.
" Brennen are you serious?"
" why wouldn't I be serious."
How did I not notice, he is drunk. I smelt the beer on him I was just stupid to Bruce when he asked me if he could get in the car. Drunk or not he is an ass.
We were finally here I got out and slammed the door.
"Alex what's wrong!"
" you told me that kiss meant nothing to you! That kiss meant something to me. I thought we were actually going somewhere. This is why I don't have friends because they hurt you just like that."
" Alex I'm so-"
" Just don't okay." I cry.
I went into my car and drove away.
I was at lunch the next day eating alone. It would probably be nice if I actually had friends to eat lunch with, but is to trust here? I saw Brennen heading my way right when I was about to leave he was there.
" Alex"
" what Brennen."
" listen I was drunk last night I didn't mean what I said! I'm so sorry Alex."
" okay." I say.
" are you mad at me?"
" No."
" Are you sure?"
" I was never mad at you."
" what were you?"
" Hurt."
