I'm finally at work again now. It's almost been a month! I'm sad and excited to go back I'm sad because I have to be away from Lux, but I'm happy because I get to see people again and not just see the same surroundings everyday.
" Alex Will you get me those papers that Mr. Larson faxed over to us it should be in Jakes office." She explained.
I nod.
I got up stairs to Jakes office an knock on the door.
" Come in." He shouts.
" Hey jake."
" Alex! How are you I've missed you." He stood up and gave me a hug.
" I'm good." I smile giving me a hug too.
" How is your baby?"
" She is good." I say scratching my neck nervously.
" Is it weird?" He asked.
" It kinda is since I'm 18 and already have a kid, but it happens." I shrug.
" I have a question for you." He asked seriously.
" Okay." I smile.
" Will you go on a date with me?" Wow didn't see that coming.
" Jake I don't know I have Lux." I try to explain.
" Come on get a babysitter please get the dad to watch her."
Brennen.
" Alex you've been in your apartment for almost a month you can't just come to work and then go home the rest of your life." He explained.
" I mean who can't say no to you." I bite my bottom lip smiling.
" I will pick you up Friday night at 12:00 pm." He winks at me.
" I will look forward to it. "
" Okay it's a date." He smirks.
I smiled at him walking towards the door.
" Alex." He said to me I turned around.
" Are you forgetting something?" I looked at him confused then remembered what I came here for.
" Oh sorry, Stephanie said Mr. Larson faxed over some stuff." I said.
" Oh it's right here." He picked up the stack of papers and winked at me once more showing his dimple.
Damn that dimple.
