At that moment I stare at the man who is sitting by our mom, it's my Brother.
" Garret?" I say hugging him.
" How are you Alex?" He says to me.
" I'm so much better now that your here. What are you doing here?"
" I'm going to be staying here, dad has just been really busy."
" oh my god I missed you so much." I cry covering my mouth.
" call Brennen and have him over." My mom says.
" who is Brennen?" My brother asks me.
Oh no.
My brother thinks I'm this 10 year old girl and I can't have a boyfriend. Which I don't understand because he is one year older than me.
" who is Brennen?" My brothers asks me.
" my friend." I say simply.
" good your way to young to have a boyfriend."
" Garret I'm 16 I think I can have a boyfriend, but thanks."
" I need to meet this guy."
"Well lucky for you he should be coming over any second."
As I said that the doorbell rang.
" hey." He says pecking me on my cheek.
" hi Brennen." I smile.
" so my brother is here and he is really protective so just bare with me."
" anything for you." He winks.
Garret comes in and stops right by me and Brennen. Brennen reaches his hand out and so does my brother.
" nice to meet you I'm Brennen." Brennen says.
" hey I'm Garret." He is being nice?
" guys I'm so sorry, but I just got a call from work. The food is in the oven and there is a timer. Have fun at dinner love you." She hurries out the door.
About 45min past and we were sitting down eating dinner. It was kinda awkward eating dinner with my brother and boyfriend.
" there is a party next week at my friends, you should come." He says breaking the silence.
" I probably will."
" don't drink." My brother says.
" yeah I know." I roll my eyes.
" have you guys had sex together." He says seriously.
I choke on water and try to gulp it down.
" that's a really personal question, but we're just friends."I laugh.
" ok." He smirks and laughs.
