I walked into the room, almost in sobs, but I was doing a good job of containing myself. I was greeted by Karla, who came back into the room from wherever she was. "What's wrong?!" she yelped before running into me with a hug. I shrugged after she let go. "I guess that this wasn't a magical fairytale vacation like we thought," I said, fighting back the tears. Karla looked sad now. "I'm sorry," she said, looking at me straight in the eyes. "It's not you," I replied, really not wanting her upset. "It's all my fault. I shouldn't have EVER suggested this in Mrs. Canterbury's class," she said, now crying.

"What's wrong Karla?" Val asked, getting up from the bed. Karla shook her head. "Please, I don't want you sad," Val said stroking Karla's shoulder gently. Val embraced Karla, and Karla hugged her back. I'm glad my sister was such a nurturer. She has made all of us feel just a little better on this trip, even if she was only a little girl.

Later that day, I was walking out of the bathroom when the hotel phone rang that shrilling ring it always performed. I noticed that Karla and Val were playing on my tablet and I giggled before Karla yelled. "Get the phone Cat! You're closest!" I rolled my eyes and flew over the bed, picking up the phone. It was the front desk lady.
"Hello? Catherine? Yes, there is something at the front desk for you, please come as soon as you can," she said before hanging up. "What was that for?" Karla asked as she heard me set the phone loudly on the receiver. "There's something for me at the front desk," I said, confused as I just sat there. "Well go get it! Whatever it is! Who knows? Maybe it's something from the boys!" she said as she got my spirits hyped up. I smiled as I ran out the door and down the hallway towards the front desk. I cringed as I looked at the couch that Louis was sitting in earlier when we had that fight. I looked out the glass doors and noticed that Louis' car was gone. They probably fixed it.

"Miss Taylor?" the lady at the counter asked, I nodded with a half smile as I skipped to the desk. "Here you go," she said, dropping a cream colored envelope in my hands. I glanced at the back, and saw it said "Dearest Catherine" in Harry's handwriting. I smiled really big as I opened the flap as I walked down the hallway. I then pulled out a note written on notebook paper....

Catherine,

I remember when we met, in that dressing room. It was the best day in my life. I never thought I met such a beautiful girl. In fact, never has a girl ever made me that nervous and shy at the first meeting. Just meeting you is and forever will be my favorite memory, but that will not change my attitude towards you now. The I love you's are now going to be past-tense. I guess the best things in life are only memories. Oh and I got you and your pack of people a Christmas present. Hope you enjoy it. x

- Harry

And as my smile faded, three packets of paper fell out of the envelope. I picked them up and I felt the sobs begin again.

They were airplane tickets to get me back home.
