"So I heard your sister is missing again?" Harry asked, his attitude changing. I sighed loudly and looked in the direction Karla disappeared in, and nodded. "I don't know what to do anymore. I thought we were just going to get y'alls interview over with and then head back home... Well, I was also trying to go to the University of London's orientation, since I was accepted but I knew that trip probably wouldn't happen, so here I am now. No best friend. No little sister. No parents," I choked up on that last statement, "And I'm stuck here, in another country. Alone," I finished, as I stared down at the icy pavement. I felt Harry's warm touch on my shoulder. "You are stuck here aren't you?" he asked, a playful twinge in his voice. I glanced at him confused. "And you did lose your best friend and sister," he added, avoiding the part about my parents. Good thing. "But you got us," he finished as his frosty emerald eyes looked into mine. I suddenly felt my face rise in temperature as the stare continued. I felt almost a deep connection arise between us, but I didn't know what to do at that exact instant. "You're right," I admitted, ducking my face under my shaggy bangs. I saw Harry's grin grow into a large smile and Louis walked up behind him. "We can be your honorary brothers... Well brother," Louis said pointing at himself. "You can make Harry whatever you want to make him," Louis added with a laugh, causing all of us to giggle. "But seriously. We are here for you. Even if we just met. There's just something about you. I for one, am going to help you no matter what these other weirdoes think," Harry said, gently pushing Louis backwards. I smiled and Harry and I had a staring moment once again, except this time, I felt this fire burn inside of me. A burning sensation I have never felt before. But I had to put this fire out. So before Harry said another word, I crashed my lips on his. And he seemed pleased and went with the kiss.
Approximately two minutes later Louis nudged us, "Get a room!" he yelled, almost in a jealous action, as we broke from the kiss, causing the chilly wind to cool my lips down once more. "The world is our room," Harry said with a smirk, not taking his eyes off of me. I shivered in delight as he said the word "our". I have never been part of an "our" before, unless my mom was saying the house wasn't just mine, it was "ours". But that did not count.
"Well it's getting nippy out here," Louis said as he rapidly rubbed his biceps and smiled across at me. Harry snickered to himself when Louis said the word nippy. I giggled too. Only Louis would say that.
"It is getting cold, let me call a taxi," Harry said, pulling out his phone and dialing a number, but as soon as it started calling, the phone slipped from his hand, and landed face down on the frozen ground. "Shit," he whispered as he picked up the cracked iPhone. I glanced worriedly at him and at Louis. "Louis, got your phone?" Harry asked, turning to him, making sure not slip. Louis nodded and pulled out his phone and then pressed the home button several times before looking at us, with a sideways frown. "It's um... dead," he hesitated and I watched as Harry tilted his head back and sighed, causing his hot breath to smoke up in the freezing air, that was just getting colder every minute. I then stirred around in my pocket before pulling out my ghetto red flip phone that has survived many falls and violent throws. "I have mine," I said weakly as I handed him the phone. He looked appreciatively at me and smiled. "Why thank you love," he said before dialing a number. "Yes. West at 32nd.... Yes... three ... okay," he said before hanging up and handing the phone back to me with yet another smile. "Thank you again," Harry said as he dropped the plastic feeling phone in my hands.
"The taxi should be here in a few," Harry informed Louis and I. I nodded and looked onto the street. I noticed little drops falling from the sky. Louis looked up and sighed. "No. Not now," he begged the clouds. "Is that ice?" I asked, bending down to touch it. "Nope. It's just rain. It is just freezing to the concrete," Harry said, helping me up so I wouldn't slide on the frozen rain and bust my bum.

A few minutes later of light conversation between the three of us, a taxi cab drove up to the curb. Harry slid to the back door and held it open for both Louis and I. I sat next to Harry and he sat across from Louis. (The seats in these cabs have four seats in the back facing each other... It is weird)
Harry told the driver where we were going and I just went along with it. I needed not to be so stressed out anyway. Might as well go with the flow. Besides he wasn't going to do anything bad with me. I think.

"Oh lookie here," Harry said as we entered a building after getting out of the cab at the location. I saw Val. Not Karla, but just Val. She was sitting right inside a beautiful lobby area on one of those hard cushioned couches. We were at my hotel.

"Surprise! I remembered where you girls were staying!" Louis said poking me in the side. Val didn't recognize me at first, but then her senses came in and she ran as fast as she could to me, embracing me in a hug. Yay! She still loved me.
"I'm sorry Cat. I didn't mean it, you know... being mean," she said, looking down at the ground and digging her toe in the tile. I smiled and embraced her again. "This is such a heartwarming moment," Harry whispered under his breath. I could tell he was smiling.
"Now... How in the WORLD did you get away from Karla?" I asked Val, pulling her, back by holding her small shoulders. Val looked guilty and bit her lip in nervousness as she glanced down at her shoes, avoiding all possible eye contact. "I kind of... ran away from her at the tube station," she mumbled, almost to where I couldn't understand her. "You WHAT?" Louis exclaimed suddenly, bending down to our level. Val nodded in shame. "You realize what type of cruel people there are in London? Not everyone is all peachy perfect like people think people like me and Harry are," Louis said, looking back at Harry, who was nodding in agreement. "I'm sorry. I won't do it again," Val mumbled. "Val. You have run away one too many times this trip, and it will end now," I sternly spoke. Val looked in shame again, but then she looked at me with bright eyes as she spoke again. "But if I hadn't run away, Louis couldn't have brought you home today!" I smiled as I turned to Louis, who was already staring at me. I giggled and looked at Val again. "Alright, you got me on that one... but still. No more running away," I said, finishing it off as I stood up and I felt Harry's hand touch my wrist. "Now go back up to the room," I ordered her. She nodded and ran to the elevator and I watched as she waved and the golden shiny doors closed shut.
"So when are you coming home with me?" Harry whispered in my ear. I jerked my head sharply to him in surprise. "Harry, it's not time to ask that!" I whispered loudly. He shrugged and giggled in delight. I think he liked it when I got mad. Not cool. But I was okay with that. I don't know. I'm so indecisive about my life right now. Just gotta remind myself to live in the moment. Go with the flow. Sigh.
"What am I going to do?" I sighed and asked in the air. Harry and Louis stayed silent. I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders. "You can always stay with me you know," I heard him say... but the him was Louis. "Louis, I can't," I answered, trying not to give away that I promised Harry. WHY ON EARTH WAS I EVEN PROMISING SHIT LIKE THAT?
Louis looked down at the tiles and sighed a heavy sigh as he lifted his arm from me. "You know, I should go," he said before quickly hastening through the hotel lobby doors, leaving Harry and I in silence.
"I wonder what that was all about," Harry mumbled in my ear as I stared off at the doors Louis just stomped out of. I hesitated before answering, "I don't know,"
We stood there for a second before Harry spoke. "Maybe I should go follow him. He doesn't usually do things like that," I nodded as Harry grasped me in a firm hug. "I really enjoyed being with you today," he said right before he kissed me.
