"Good morning lovelies!" Karla screamed, jumping onto my bed. I flipped the pillow over my head so I could muffle her out a bit. "GET UP!" she yelled in my ear and I felt the sheets sliding and the next thing I knew, I was hitting the cold hard ground. "KARLA!" I yelled back, trying to untangle myself from the sheets. "Sorry. I just want us to be PERF tonight!" she said, primping herself... Once again. "Its like seven in the morning and I have jet lag," I said, trying to flip onto the mattress once more. I heard Karla sigh and I heard her soft footsteps come closer to the bed.
She then shook me and yelled earthquake. She was making me mad. Haha
"Excuse me sir, do you know where the O2Arena is?" I asked the man behind the hotel counter downstairs. We were prepped and ready for the show in two hours. "Um, down the street until you hit the intersection. You turn right and keep going along the riverfront and you will see it when you look land-ward," he said, pointing in the directions he spoke of. Val was jumping up and down in place, full of excitement, playing with her backstage pass that dangled upon her sternum. I nodded in thanks, and turns towards the front entrance of the grand hotel.
"I want to go outside!" Val yelled as she tugged the bottom of my fuzzy coat. I rolled my eyes and told her to go along. She ran as fast as she could out the door and she ran to the left. "You think she gonna be okay? She didn't say where she was going," Karla said, coming up behind me and touching the top of my shoulder. I shrugged and then realized what I did.
"VALERIE!" I yelled as I sprinted outside, holding my pass to my body so I wouldn't loose it. I didn't see her. I looked down both stretches of endless sidewalk and she was nowhere to be seen.
"Great we did it again," Karla said, leaning against the nearest pole. She crossed her ankles and looked like she gave up on life. "Why did you have to bring your sister. All she has been in a burden in OUR dream vacation," Karla said, sighing and brushing back her hair and pushing her glasses to her face. I didn't answer her, instead we stayed silent and then I heard a scream.
"VALERIE!" I yelled as I jerked around to see her in the street. "CAT!" she yelled almost in tears, limping towards me. "Babe, what happened?" I asked frantically looking over her to see how she had been hurt. That was when her tears began to flow. "No sweetie, you're strong. Stay strong Val," I said as I saw she hurt her leg. I rubbed the surface of her lower leg and I felt her wince in pain. I turned towards Karla, who was still standing up. "Kar... She's hurt," I said, looking back at Val. "What do we do?" she asked, bending down to our level. "Get help of course!" I said, picking Val up in my arms. "Cat, you realize that if we get help we might miss the concert right?" Karla asked, hesitantly. I sighed and drooped a little in my stance. "Great. Just great. Well we CANT miss the concert, and I CANT just let Val stay hurt," I said, looking into Val's tear-stricken face.

A Christmas Wish
