CAT'S POV:
"Karla, let's just not focus on the past. Let's just face it. We aren't in London anymore. It's whatever. That is like waaayyy over. Like 6 months ago over," I laughed and she looked past me at the front door. "I think you're wrong," she said, not smiling. My laughter faded and I stared at her in question. She grabbed my shoulders and turned me to see ... Harry.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked, not thinking before I spoke. I didn't know if I was speaking of anger, surprise, excitement, or sadness. I just yelled.
He cocked his head and didn't come any closer. He wasn't even smiling. "Harry? Is that you?" I asked from the other side of the room. He stepped a few steps closer and brushed his bangs back out of his face. "Hey," he said smiling. "Hey," I answered back, not knowing what else to say. I probably made him upset with my first comment. He came closer and smiled at me. "Well, no hug no nothing?" he said holding his arms out at me. "Um... no... you have a girlfriend, and I'm pretty sure she would rip your arms off if she found out she was competing with some fan from Texas who you just so happened to meet at a concert in London," I answered sarcastically. He flopped his arms down at his sides. "Sorry," he said, fumbling with his hands behind his back. I sighed and looked back at Karla, and she was signaling me to hurry up and make a move, but I shook my head with an angry look. Harry noticed and giggled.
"Listen. I know this is strange, sudden and out of the normal, but I came to see you," Harry said, once again, coming closer. I didn't move. "I am tired of my life and how it is, and I guess you made my life different because I want you back in it," he smiled as he gazed into my eyes, the way he did before we almost kissed outside the Harrods in London. "But you have Cara," I said, suddenly feeling weak in his gaze. My voice and tone softened as well. Harry chuckled as he rubbed his upper arm. "Well I want you," he blatantly stated. I blinked a few more times than usual and smiled at the ground. "No you don't," I said. "There is absolutely no way in the world that we could even be together, or even have a thing at that," I answered, still smiling at the ground, not daring to meet his gaze, but he knew that was my weakness so he tilted my head up to him. "We had a "thing" in London. I'm pretty sure we held that down for a week or whatever," he smiled, and I couldn't help but smile at his perfect gaze. "Please?" he begged, suddenly sounding childish. I took a deep breath in. "I don't know. You have to prove to me that you still care," I said, turing back to grab a menu as I saw a man come in and sit down. "Hold that thought," I said as I walked over to the man and handed him a menu and a mason jar of water.
I walked back over to Harry. "Now then, what were we talking about?" I asked. He sighed and rolled his eyes playfully. "Okay, will you please be my girlfriend?" he asked again in a different way. "Have you broken up with Cara?" I asked, and he hesitated before shaking his head. "Oh please come on! I came all the way here! For you! You really think that I would come for anyone else? You are the only one I want! Please! Cara is only a show girlfriend!--" I cut him off "So you wouldn't use me in front of the press because I'm not like Cara?" I asked in shock, giving him a nasty glare. He shook his head super fast and re-stated himself. "No! I just did it because people were bringing up the rumors again and I had to settle it so management set me up with Cara! She's not ugly and I liked her for a moment but I couldn't stop thinking about you," he said, and I sighed without talking. "You have to prove it to me again. How long are you in the states for?" I asked, noting that the man was signaling me down, but I waited for Harry's answer first. Harry hesitated. "As long as you want me to," he said with a smile finally. "I'm just saying you have to prove it to me again. I don't believe you," I replied as I went back to the man's table taking his lunch order.
