She looked over the edge of the hotel, and tightened her grip on the railing. God, she thought, I'm in for it now. Paige swallowed.

The building was thirteen stories high. Not as tall as most, but still enough to kill a girl (should she fall off). She positioned herself so one leg was dangling from the rail that surrounded the permiter of the roof. She pushed herself as hard as she could so that she went tumbling down. Paige thought she heard someone screaming, only to find it was herself.

As every time, right before it ended the words ,PIVIK HOBIC, appeared etched into the cement. "Pay, wake up, Pay!" Called a voice in the back of her mind. She tried to ignore it, but it kept calling...and calling...

Paige shot up right and sucked in air. Her older brother was kneeling beside her bed, pulling her from her nightmare.

"Again?" He asked. All Paige could do was nod her head. Her head ached and a single word sang like a song in the back of her head, shadowhunters.
