One week later
Elsa
"There" I say finishing patching up Jacks head. "That actually wasn't that bad."
"Good, cause you're going to need to change that bandage every four hours" Dr.Allen says. Jack smiles at me and I smile back. "If you two are comfortable enough, you can go home today."
"Home?" I ask. We'd go to Jacks house, but that's not really home.
"I think we're good to go" jack says.
"What? No, you came out of surgery last week."
"So? Merida had heart surgery and 5 days later she left. We're ready" he says and then turns back to Allen.
"I'll give you two some time to talk."
"We don't need to talk, I'm ready, we're ready to go" Jack insists and Dr.Allen nods and walks out the door. "Tell him we're ready" he says to me once the doctor left.
"But what if we're not."
"Elsa, this is a perfect time to go home. Your arm is getting better and so are your legs, and I barely get headaches anymore, and I walked around the hospital yesterday. We're more than ready."
"But what if we're not?"
"But what if we are?!" He says getting annoyed, "Elsa, pull yourself together. Take a chance."
"Take a chance Jack? Really? You want me to take a chance? That's what got you in the hospital in the first place" I say. "I thought you died, but they were able to save you" I say referring to the doctors. "Who knows, I probably made it worse by wrappings unsanitary cloths around your head. This is all my fault, if I hadn't gone to Paris you wouldn't have missed your plane to Africa. I almost killed everyone, I killed Hiccup, Merida left, Rapunzels never walking again-"
"Elsa" he calmly says. I stop at how calm he is. "If you hadn't gone to Paris, I would be in Africa, and you'd be married to Kristoff. Your sister would've hated you, and what happened to Hiccup and Rapunzels isn't your fault, it happened for a reason."
"Why though?" I cry, "why? I almost lost you"
"But you didn't, and you won't" he hugs me. "Not for a long time" he whispers into my ear and I pull away. "I love you" he says putting a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
"I can't imagine you leaving" I say.
"Good, because that's not going to happen."

"Yes mom" I say into the phone."You're sure you don't need anything?"
"Positive. We got it all handled, love you."
"Okay, love you too" she says and hangs up.
"Who was that?" Jack asks coming back from the bathroom.
"My mom" I say, "worried about where we're staying, but it's all good cause we're just going to your place right?"
"Wrong" he says. "Elsa, I was moving to Africa, I sold the house 3 weeks ago"
"Well, what about your parents"
"I told them not to worry."
"What are we going to do?" I ask.
"I mean, Els, we're married, and we make good money."
"I make good money, or I used to."
"No, you still do"
"Jack, I quit my job."
"Elsa, I quit my job. You plan to quit your job."
"That's right, I plan to quit my job. I'm still upset with my parents, I don't want to go back"
"But with your pay checks, plus my savings, we can buy a house, build one even" he says stepping closer to me. "I'm in no shape to work, and if you quit, who knows when you'll get another job."
"But-"
"Elsa, please, do it for Ella" he says and pets my stomach.
"Ella?"
"Yeah, I was thinking, that if it's a girl we could name it Ella."
"What if it's a boy."
"You pick" he says, "I already chose Ella"
"But Ella is too close to Elsa, don't you think it's weird."
"Easier for me" he smiles.
"We are not naming her Ella."
"Fine" he says, "so, you keeping your job?"
"Fine" I say, "only until you can get back to work."
"Yes!" He smashes his lips into mine. It's been a while, and honestly I've been missing it. "I love you so much" he says.
"I hate you" I joke.
"Fine by me" he says and kisses me again. That's the thing about Jack, he always finds a to convince me.
