Elsa
9:39pm.
"Elsa" I hear my name being called out. I turn around and see Jack running towards me. Instead of running the whole way, he stopped. "Y-your early" he says and I nod. I walk under the willow tree and he follows at a safe distant. Small groups of snow fall as I take a seat on a bench underneath the trees branches. They sheltered us so that no snow fell. Jack takes a seat next to me but not too close. For a while we stare at each other and that's when he pulled me in for hug. "I'm so glad your okay" his deep voice says. I hug him back and we pull away. He holds onto my hands.
"Of course I am" I say. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"Hans threatened you and well, he's stronger than you and has his little buddies working for him" I had completely forgotten about Hans. When I saw Jack running towards me my mind went blank and focused on him.
"He threatened Jack, threatened. Hans could never pull off something that would break us up."
"He knows?" I nodded.
"The whole school does.."
"I know...Elsa, we need to tell them"
"Who?"
"The school, it'll be harder for Hans to get to us and we need to end this dating drama. I saw you run out of class crying Elsa, and I know why."
"But Jack, won't they think you-"
"I don't care what they think. Let them think what they want. Fuckboy, cheater, i miss you Elsa and I'm tired of hiding my feelings for you" I slowly pull my hands away.
"I'm sorry" I say. "All I do is screw things up. I can't even have a normal relationship."
"You do not screw things up" he says. "And we can have a normal relationship, all we need to do is try."
"We are trying and we're also failing"
"Elsa, hiding and breaking up with people is not necessarily what I call trying in this situation"
"What else do you want me to do?!" He stood up.
"To try Elsa!"
"I am trying!" I stand up as well. "I just don't think it's worth all the the fuss."
"It's not worth it? Oh, so now your saying that our relationship is not worth it."
"I didn't say that!"
"It sure sounded like it."
"Why are you making this harder for me?"
"For you?" He shakes his head. "in going to go now" he starts to walk to his car and I call out for him.
"Jack, this is ridiculous" he keeps walking. "Jack!" I shout. He gets in his car and drives away. "Ugh!" I grit my teeth. I make a snowball and rad only throw it. I sit on the bench with my hands on my head.
