Jack
My parents drove off with Elsa and that was it. We had just had breakfast and Emma was playing with her toys while I just watched tv in my room. I was kind of bored but it was okay I guess. I mostly started to think. I payed no attention towards the television, I just simply let my mind wander. It suddenly hit me, I'm happy. I'm actually happy. I have Elsa, my friends are all good, my family is doing well, drama seems to be going down. It scared me...these things don't last very long.
I tried to push the thought away but I just couldn't. Our world is so messed up, we can't even have a kid run around in the streets without the fear of kidnappers, murderers, car accidents. The sound of my phone ringing forces me to push them aside. It was coming from a number I've never seen before. "Hello?"
"Jackson"
"Yes? who is this?" The voice sounded kind of familiar but some voices change when it comes to calls. "How'd you get my number?"
"It's me, Hans" I groan.
"I'm hanging up now" I say turning off my phone. I continue to watch tv when he calls again. "Yeeees?"
"This is a warning Frost. You better-" I hung up again. The phone immediately began to ring and I answered it. "Is this still Hans?" I ask bored.
"Hans? What?" I check the caller ID. It's Elsa. If she finds out he called me she's going to be worried all over again. "Jack what's going on?" Sh!t what do I do?! "Jack?" I quickly clear my throat.
"Sorry dear, wrong number" I say in a really high pitch voice. I quickly hang up. My phone rang again and I checked the ID. It was Hans. I answer it again. "Listen Fro-" I hang up. My phone rings again and it's the bastard. "Yo"
"This is your final warning Jack! You-" I hang up. He calls again.
"What?" I ask annoyed.
"Uh, hello to you too" Elsa says. I grab the remote control and bang it on my head numerous of times. "What's that banging sound"
"Just trying to get my life together" I say still banging.
"Well can you stop for a minute? I wanted to ask you if you'd like to catch a movie?"
"Movie sounds great" I say. I tried to change the channel but the remote wouldn't work. "Which one?"
"You pick" I banged it on my head again and it worked.
"Well I'm not sure which one cause-" out of nowhere my tv exploded.
"GAAAAH!" I shout at the popping sound.
"What's going on?" She asks.
"We blew a fuse!" Emma shouts.
"I'll be right there!" I shout back.
"Jack?"
"Hi, yeah sorry"
"So anyways, movie?"
"Tonight's good. We shou-" I get another call. "Hang on I'm getting another call" I say. I check who it is and answer. "Hey, I'm kinda busy right now"
"Last chance Frost!" Hans shouts pissed. "I'm following your precious girl if you don't do what I say."
"Fine, what do you want?"
"I want a night with her a a bar" I laugh.
"That's so stupid! I'm not taking her to a bar"
"What?!" I hear Elsa shout. Damn pressed a button by accident. "No, no, no, no, no not you Els. Hold on" I go back to Hans.
