Mam, there are a few things we need to discuss first" a doctor says, a resident to be specific.

"What" I say starring off into the distance. My face, covered in dry tears, I didn't sleep last night. I kept watching over the baby in hopes that she would get better. Praying for Jack.

"You're husband, Jackson-"

"Jack" I interrupt, "he likes Jack" the resident clears his throat before continuing.

"I'm sorry, but you need to decide what to do with him. You have options, you can send him off into life care, where he'll stay with the machines keeping him alive, or donate all of his useful organs to those in need, which would mean..pulling the plug" he says.

"Just, give me the papers" I say. He doesn't hesitate and hands me the clipboard. I look at him before signing.  "You make sure that his organs don't go to waste" I say and he nods.

"O-of course."

"And please, don't tell the others" I look through the window where I see everyone else surrounding the baby. They know Jack is at the hospital, but they don't know about his condition. He nods and I hand him back the papers.

"I just need to grab some motet kings for you to sign. I'm sorry" he says standing up.

I walk in and see him laying there, he looks like he's only sleeping. A nurse walks in and immediately notices me. "I can only begin, when I get those back" she says. I stare down at my signature. Pull the plug..or let him live. I look back at Jack and see the tube sticking down his throat. I can't let him be this way, that wouldn't be him, only a corpse that's being kept alive by machines.

I hand her the papers and she quickly checks them and nods. She takes puts on her gloves then looks at me. "You can take a seat" she says. I sit down next to him and look down at his bruised face. His head had dry blood, but not as much as it did a couple months back. His face showed no expression, yet he looked alive, but I knew it was only the machines that kept him that way. I tear up as I look at the tubes that were keeping him alive.

"I just got a kiss from you" he says. "Of course I'm okay" he says.
-
"I'm going with you, I don't care about the company. I never signed up for any of this." I lay my head on his shoulder.
-
"You dare stop the tickle monster?" He said and began to tickle me.
"Stop" I laughed
-
"Trust me, I know" He leans in a little more and I also lean in.

"We shouldn't, I can't"

"I know" He says and we kiss
-
"I'm not going to tell the world, I am in love with you Elsa, no matter how hard I try not to be"

"J-Jack-"

"Ever since I saw you again at school, I knew that you were the one I'd want to grow old with."

"Mam" the nurse brings me out of my flashbacks.

"Jack" I hold his hand and wait for a response. It feels warm, like he's not dead. "Jack" my voice breaks as I tear up even more. "It's a girl, and she looks like you. She has your nose and lips..." I begin to cry and I look up. "I'm sorry, I wasn't there for you" I say still crying. "You don't have to fight anymore" I let go of his hand and pet hit hair.

"Are you ready?" The nurse asks.

"No" I say, "but go ahead," I watch as she turns off the monitors. One by one, the beeping sounds and breathing sounds stop. His chest doesn't move up and down in a steady rhythm. She reaches over and takes out the tube and that's when his chest goes flat, and so does the line that indicated his heart beats. She steps away from the bed and I stare down at him. "I love you" I say.

Jack

'I love you'
