My Daughters Father

Chapter 4

Aviana's Pov
My dad, Wilder, and I rush into the schools stadium. As I leave backstage to get ready my dad kisses my forehead and says "Break a leg baby girl". I smile at him and quickly release from his embrace to practice my lines and songs I need to sing.

When I get back there I see Justin Bieber again, but this time talking to my whole drama class about how we should be loud and confident.

I stay where I am until Justin looks at me and smiles "You can join us if you'd like to sweetheart" he suggests pointing to a spot next to my friend Brielle. I sigh deeply and awkwardly make my way next to the open seat.

After a while of Justin talking we started rehearsing. As I am rehearsing my solo for the song we are singing, Justin waits till I finish and says "Wow you have a beautiful voice".

I give him a small smile hoping he would go compliment someone else, but he keeps talking. He starts to talk about his family and past life until one statement caught my attention.

"So I guess your mom told you that we had a one night stand a couple years back".?

My heart stops and I look at him in utter disbelief.

"My mom never told me that before, she says that the only person she has ever been with is my dad". I stutter trying to get what he said in my head.

He chuckles sarcastically and creepily leaning into my ear and whispers "Are you even sure your dad is really your biological father"?

With that he leaves to another kid and starts talking to them as if nothing ever bothered him.

I start breathing heavily and head to the bathroom when my drama teacher Mr. Anderson stops me.

"Where do you think you're going Ms. Grande/ Alvarez"? He asks strictly.

I hesitate and say "Umm I need some air Mr. I don't feel to great".

He laughs and says "Nonsense my dear you don't have to be nervous you'll do great and you don't have time to freshen up you are on in 2 minutes".

I breathe heavily again as he pushes me up on the stage. I stand there and take in the audience and try to find my dad hoping he can come help me. As I look around I find him sitting next to Nonna, Frankie, and Wilder in Frankie's arms with an empty seat next to him. I knew my mom would come late she doesn't ever care. I look away and see Justin at the piano smirking at me as the music starts.

It was my solo but I stand there no words coming out of my mouth. I can hear whispers coming from the other kids on stage and the audience. I see my mom come in and sit next my "dad" and has a worried face as she looks at me after my father explains to her what is happening.

I didn't even realize I had tears running down my cheeks until they hit the tip of my lips the taste being salty. I then run down the stage exiting the stadium and running to the nearest bathrooms.

I lock myself in the stall sobbing thinking about what Justin said. Is Ricky my father? Is my mom lying to me? Does Ricky even know that Justin and my mom slept together?

I snap out of my thinking when I hear heels clicking in the bathroom and hear my mothers voice.

"Aviana baby, are you in here"? She stops in front of my stall and pushes it open. Why didn't I lock it I think to myself?

She looks at me and pouts.

"Angel face why are you crying. You got your father and I worried about you".

I look at her anger in my eyes.

"I hate you"! I yell.

She looks at me stunned.

"Baby what did I do to you"?

I snap at her "You lied to me, and Ricky, he's not my father Justin is, and you never told Ricky because you didn't want to look like an unfaithful girlfriend, but now I know you're a slut and I was just a one night stand mistake"!

She is now sobbing looking at me. "Well am I right did you have a one night stand with Justin? Am I really his daughter"? I ask no emotion in me left.

She looks at me and stutters a "yes".

As I was about to say something and I hear my father (Ricky) say, "WHAT THE FUCK ARIANA"? As he enters the community restroom.
