Ariana's pov
"Thank you so much again, Marlene. Sorry for being so last minute." I state softly into the phone not wanting to wake up Wilder who's sleeping in the cot next to Ricky's bed.

I'm currently sitting down at his desk in the room, while speaking to Marlene about the divorce situation.

"Yah of course. I'm happy y'all decided to work things out." She chirps making me smile.

"Me too, I'll be keeping in touch with you for sure." I say while looking at my emails on the computer. I have so much shit I need to go through, this one being the most important for obvious reasons.

"Alright honey, I'll talk to you later. I send love and happiness to your family." She concludes sweetly before hanging up.

I get up off the chair and sigh heavily. I make my way to the diaper bag retrieving the baby carrier and placing it on me. I have to call my mother who I have been avoiding, but I kind of feel like taking a walk around the private neighborhood.

John had left 30 minutes ago saying he needed to go run some errands, Sylvia is still out and about, and then Ricky is still at the hospital with Aviana who specifically said she didn't need me there. The comment kind of took me by surprise but I didn't want to make her even more angry so I left the conversation as is.

Not wanting to wake Wilder up, I gently pick his fat self up without waking him up and prop him in the carrier where his face is facing my chest. He moves a little snuggling up to me as I grab his pacifier and blanket.

I put the blanket over him so that he won't get cold and I grab my phone and my water bottle.

"Alright, lets go." I say to myself since there's no one else in my presence other than a sleeping baby.

I'm about 10 minutes into my walk when I remember to call my mother.

I get my phone out and dial my mommy who I haven't talked to in days. I sit down on a little bench by the town homes and wait.

As I'm waiting and sitting I caress Wilder's cheeks as he slept. He's such a calm and mellow baby. I never really have trouble with him. I hope the new baby is the same.

I snap out of my thinking when I realize my mother didn't answer. She's probably in a meeting, she is a CEO of a very important organization.

I groan out loud, resulting Wilder to wake up. Instantly regretting doing so i try to put him back to sleep, but once he figures out we're outside he starts to kick his little feet and chunky legs in pure joy and excitement.

This kid loves the outdoors. Just like his daddy.

"Well hello my angel." I coo making the little boy look up at me with adoration.
