My Daughters Father

Chapter 5

Ricky's Pov
After I saw Aviana run off the stage I look at Ariana worried and confused. I am about to say something when Ariana gets up and starts heading to the direction our baby girl was going .I sit with Wilder debating if I should also go and talk to Aviana.

   A couple minutes later making up my mind I turn to Joan and Nonna and excuse myself after handing Wilder to his grandmas.

I rush outside looking for the nearest bathroom that they could have ran in and I start speed walking to a building that marks the community restroom. Before I go in there I wanted to be able to tell her the right things, but I then start hearing in on Ariana and Aviana's heated conversation.

"Well is it true? Did you really have a one night stand with Justin? Am I really his daughter?" My breath hitches for these questions and accusations made my heart shatter.

I wait until Ariana answers hoping and praying the answers to Aviana's questions are false and that I'm her father.

I then hear a soft and sobbing yes come from Ariana's mouth and I lose it. I march into the restroom and look at Ariana with anger and hate.

"What the fuck, Ariana? Are you serious right now? You have been lying to me for 12 almost 13 years about Aviana being mine?"

She then looks at me scared, nervous, and guilty letting tears fall from her eyes and onto her tanned and blushed cheeks.

She lets out a sob and says, "Ricky, please I didn't mean to, I was drunk and had no clue what I was doing. It was a stupid mistake and I never meant for this to ever hurt you."

I look at her in disbelief, "Are you serious Ariana? You didn't want to hurt me, oh trust me sweetheart you didn't just hurt me by keeping this secret but you hurt your daughter for lying to her about her real father. Face it Ariana, you're just a selfish bitch who wasn't thinking about anyone but you and your reputation." I yell at her, but then look at Aviana, my precious Aviana who I have loved since day 1, and still love. Her beautiful face all distraught and saddened by the news she was hearing.

I look at Ariana and wait to hear what she has to say. A couple of seconds later she goes towards Aviana and kisses her cheek doing the same to me and just walks out the building going into the parking lot.

I motion Aviana towards me letting her arms wrap around my neck as I carry her out into my car.

I was about to text Joan when Aviana asked me the most heartbreaking question.

"Daddy do you still want and love me", she asks  sobbing into her hands.

I turn around and look at her as I give her a small smile.

"Baby I'm never going to stop loving you, I am still your father no matter what your mother and Justin say", I explain, sympathy flowing out of my voice.

She stops crying and smiles at me with the most biggest smile she has smiled all day.

"I will always love you daddy, more than Mommy, and more than anyone in the world except I still love Wilder and my Nonnas", she says putting her arms around my neck.

I pull away and look her in her beautiful brown eyes, identical to her mothers and sigh a heavy sigh, "Now Aviana you have to love mommy as much as you love me, because she still loves you very much.

She looks at me uncertain of my statement. She  bites her lip, just like Ariana whenever she's nervous and asks,

"Where did mom go? Is she mad at me? Are you and mommy still going to be together"?

I look her in her hopeful eyes overwhelmed by all these questions that she has hit me with.

I sigh and say

"Princess I don't know where your mother went, trust me she is far from mad at you, and last but not least baby girl is I don't think your mom and I are really friendly and close right now and we might not get back together but if I do leave your mom I want you to always know I love you and your little brother more than anyone else in this world, that being said I will always be here for you whenever you need me".

I wipe some of my tears that spilled unknowingly out of my eyes and once again get back to texting Joan to have Wilder and Aviana spend the night at their grandmas house because things at home between Ariana and I are not gonna be pretty.
