Ariana's pov
"Is there any medical or health issues we should know about your daughter Mr. and Mrs.Alvarez?" The principle of the school asks us as we sit in her office. We have made it to the meeting just in time. Ricky complaining how I made us late, but the principle was also running late so we were good. We have been here for about 45 minutes now and I was honestly bored and tired.
Aviana has left with another assistant principle so she could look around the school and Wilder was sleeping in his car seat at my feet.
"Ummm she's actually allergic to any type of nut, so we will make sure she has her own packed lunch everyday." My husband says kindly.
I swear Ricky has been doing all the talking, making me look like some type of step mom that doesn't know shit about her own daughter.
"Oh okay, we will make sure she stays away from those foods so not to worry." She tells us making us smile.
So far this school sounds like the most ideal school and I'm really comfortable with her attending, but I'm just hoping she feels just as comfortable.
"Okay well if there's anything else you would like to know or anything you would like me to know in regards of your daughter or the school please ask me." Mrs. McCormick states folding her hands on her desk.
I look at Ricky and shrug my shoulders.
"Well I think my husband here asked all the questions we really needed to know so I think we are all set." I say picking up the paper work and standing up.
She smiles at us as she escorts us outside where Aviana is waiting on a chair.
"Well we look forward to having you with us Ms. Aviana Rose." She says in a campy way making my daughter cringe.
Aviana shyly nods her head and hides behind Ricky who has Wilder's car seat.
We all giggle at the sight and say our last goodbyes.
Once we get inside the car I look back at Aviana and smile at her.
"What did you think baby girl?" I ask as Ricky starts driving to my moms house. Aviana has piano lessons and the teacher meets us at my mothers home every Tuesday.
Aviana bites her lip and nods.
"Ummmm I liked it. The classes are really nice and Mr. Bridge says that there's not a lot of kids in each class." She replies making me happy that she was okay with the school.
"Really? So you don't mind starting in 2 weeks?" I ask again.
"Yah I don't mind. I mean I have to go to school right?" She states looking out the car window as I turn back in my seat and take out my phone.
