As the car drove through the tall, iron gates of Harrison Boarding School, I caught my first glimpse of the main building. The building where I would be spending the next few years at. The building which would become my new home. It was a huge, light grey building with windows all over it.

As the cab driver drove on further, to the right there was an parking lot and to the left there was a forest. Literally. There was hedges and trees everywhere, with neat green grass dotted with purple flowers. I wondered what was in the middle of it.

I waited patiently - and nervously - as the cab driver parked in front the the big doors. I jumped out, taking my backpack with me. As soon as the cab driver went to the back and pulled out my two luggage's, the big doors opened, revealing a young, brown haired man. He jumped down the stairs, with a grin plastered on his face.

"Hello! I'm Mr. Lloyd," he said, holding out his hand.

"Ashley Milos," I said, shaking his hand.

"Awesome. Here, let me help you with this," he grabbed my luggage.

"Thanks," I smiled. I followed him up the stairs, holding on to my backpack tightly. My hands and knees were now shaking. I was dead nervous. The entrance was huge. There was a painting of someone on the walls, there were rich Persian carpets covering the wooden floors.

The man, Mr. Lloyd, put down my suitcase and turned to me.

"I'll make sure your things are into your dorm by the time the headmaster has finished speaking to you." And with that, he turned around and walked away.

I sighed. I walked towards the door with the sign: "Headmasters Office." and knocked on it.

"Come in," a gruffly old voice said. I walked into a dark room, it was mostly brown and red. I walked towards the desk with the three chairs and sat down. The man in front of me had a kind face, he was pretty old, with blue eyes behind glasses.

"First, I'd like to welcome you to Harrison Boarding School..."

Just before I was about to leave, Mr. Durand handed me my schedule and dorm key.

"Don't lose the key, Ashley," he smiled at me.

"I won't. And, thanks," I smiled back, before shutting the door behind me and walking up the stairs that he had told me to go up.

Since today was Sunday there was no classes. Looking down at my watch, it said 5:46. I sighed.

Taking out my key out of the envelop and checking what dorm room I'm staying in, I realized I'd come to the right corridor.

My room was 117. I took a deep breath, and walked inside. I let go as I realized no one was in here. I took a step into the room, before shutting the door behind me.

The room was light. Half of it was covered with posters and pictures - I guessed my roommates side - and the other half was plain.

In-between our beds there was a lot of space. There was two desks. One with a laptop and papers and more pictures, the other one empty. Mine.

I wondered what my roommate was like. But, judging from the pictures I guessed shed be crazy and fun to hang out with. I wondered if I'd make any friends. But, I pushed all the dark things to the back of my mind.

Looking around again, I realized there was two other doors. I stood up and went through the first one. It was the toilet and bathroom. Walking through the second one, I saw a medium sized room, with two big closets inside. That's were I keep my clothes, I thought.

Walking back to the main room, I realized, for the first time, that my suitcase and backpack were next to my bed.

Dragging the suitcase that contained my clothes, I went into the closet room and started unpacking.

My roommate still hadn't come back.
