Saturday was really fun. The school offered us a ride to Town. We were window shopping mostly. Me, June and Anna bought identical shirts for fun. I got to know them more.
Anna and Gage always flirt with each other, for fun, apparently. If someone didn't know, they'd think their madly in love. The way Gage had his arm slung over her shoulder and the way they'd laugh. Of course, WE knew they were joking, but it looked like they fancied each other.
Hunter was the same. He was flirting with me, but I knew he was joking. Shane talked to me, and we had lots of fun. All of us.
At 6:30, we went to McDonald's because it was getting dark and we were hungry.
At 8:00, a school van came to pick us up and we were back in the school. We went into the Library for a while before getting kicked out and going into the Game Room.
Shane walked us half way to our dorms, before saying goodnight and walking away.
"I think he likes you," June nudged me.
"Yeah, me too." Anna giggled.
"I don't think so. He's just being friendly," I said.
"Yeah, right!" Anna snorted.
"Seriously." I said.
"If you say so," June chuckled, rolling her eyes.
"Whatever. Night, guys." I whispered, before going in.
"Goodnight," they whispered back.
I closed the door, gently and tip toed to the bathroom.
"Hey," a voice whispered.
I screamed and turned around.
Alice started laughing.
"Hey! It's not funny! It's the second time you've done this now," I said, glaring at her.
She kept laughing, "Sorry. Couldn't resist it."
"It's fine," I sighed. I went over to the door and turned on the lights.
Alice was siting on my bed, grinning.
"So, where were you?" She asked.
"Oh, um," I bit my lip. "I went to Town."
I ran off into the bathroom before she asked me anything else.
I sighed. I hated lying. Especially, to my roommate. I mean, yeah I only know her for a week or something, but it's still wrong.
I sighed again and brushed my teeth, hoping she wont ask me who with when I came out.
Fortunately, when I came out, she was looking through my sketch book.
"These are amazing," she breathed.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"No problemo," she said, still looking down.
"When did you get back?" I asked, conversationally.
"An hour ago," she said.
She looked up and put my book back where it was.
"I'm so tired," she yawned and stood up. I went and turned the light off.
"Yeah, me too." I said, getting into my bed.
"Goodnight, Ashley." She whispered.
"Goodnight, Alice," I smiled, even though I knew she wouldn't see it in the dark. But, at that moment, I knew me and Alice had become friends.
