The next day, I woke up with a loud bang. I stood up and went to the door. No one was out there. I shrugged and decided to have a shower.

At breakfast, Sasha asked what we were doing today. I just looked at Chase.

"I don't know. Why?" He asked.

"I'm needed at work till 5:00. You guys could go to the movies or something. Then, we can all go out for dinner. Is that okay?" She asked us.

I nodded.

"I'm terribly sorry, Chase. And you Ashley."

"It's fine. Really. I'll just show her around the place. Don't worry about it," Shane smiled. He was so kind to his aunt.

We finished breakfast and said goodbye to Sasha.

"So, wanna go to town?" Chase asked me.

"Sure. I'll go get dressed."

"Sure," he nodded.

Once in my room, I kept on my jeans and changed my shirt. I sprayed perfume, grabbed my bag and converse and went down to meet him. He was standing outside, whistling.

"Boo!" I yelled.

"Ah!" He screeched, sarcastically.

I grinned brightly at him. "So, where we going?"

"Just to town. Jeez, relax."

"Aw. Your no fun. I'm happy today. Don't ruin it, jerk," I linked my arm into his and pulled him down the road.

"Sure. But, may I ask, why you are pulling me down the wrong way?" He asked. His eyes were bright and happy.

"Then, lead the way!" I said, happily.

We ended up going to Starbucks and then to the park.

"You like nature, huh?" I yelled up at him. He was sitting in a tree. It wasn't a long way up, but pretty complicated. Coming from someone who's afraid of heights...

"Yup. Come on up! It's so nice here," he yelled back.

"How are we going to get down?"

"Don't worry about that. Just come on!"

I looked up and down the tree. Chase wasn't up that high. He won't let anything happen to me. I sighed and grabbed a branch. I pulled myself up and grabbed onto another higher branch. I heard Chase come down a bit and his hand was firmly around my wrist, helping me up.

"Thanks." I breathed out.

"Your welcome. Just keep your leg on this branch," he nodded towards a long branch that was thick and looked strong. I obeyed.

"It's been so long since I've came here," he leaned against the branch behind him and sighed.

"Did you live with your aunt? Before coming to Harrisons?" I asked, curiously.

"Yeah," he closed his eyes. I nudged him.

"Hey! Grandpa, don't sleep on me!"

He cracked open one eye. "Grandpa?"

"Yup," I replied, cheekily.

"I'm pretty sure your flirting with me, Ashley." He smiled and opened his other eye.

I snorted. "Yeah, right."

"Whatever you say," he shrugged. He closed his eyes again.

"You know, I saw Shane the other day. He stomped out of Mr. Lloyds office. They were arguing." I suddenly said. Where did that come from?
