That night, Peeta and I were laying in bed, at about 10:30-11:00.

"I can't sleep," I groan. Peeta turns over on his opposite side to face me.

"You're not the only one," he sighs. I roll over and wrap my arms around him. I bury my head in his shirt.

He pushes back a strand of hair out of my face with his finger as I start to finally relax and drift off to sleep, my heavy breaths turning into light ones.

*next day*

Today, Peeta and I were going to spend a day in town, do some shopping and just have a nice day together.

I hope it will be nice at least.

I yawn and stretch as I commute out of bed and into the bathroom. I pull out jeans and a shirt, plus my nice leather boots that had laces and were ankle length.

I brushed my hair and pulled it back into a sleek braid. I then afterwards brushed my teeth and went downstairs.

Peeta wasn't awake yet, but I wanted to give him a chance to sleep in. I walked out front and picked a few primroses out of one of our flower gardens. I firmly secured them one by one in my braid.

I packed our lunch for the picnic we were going to have on our day out. I made it special because Peeta and I don't get to have many days like this, because of his work at the bakery.

I feel arms wrap around me as I jump.

"Morning sunshine, sorry to startle you, I didn't mean to," he said with a smirk. I put my hands on his.

"Good morning, my love," I say to him in reply. We dance around the kitchen in fun ways. Peeta twirls me around till I get dizzy but then I fall right into his arms.

I hold up the picnic basket, " I have everything packed!"

"Aw, thank you! I didn't expect you to be up so early today."

"I didn't either." I say

"Are you ready to go?"

"Sure am! Are you?"

"Couldn't be readier," he says. We walk out the door and stroll into town.

"How about we stop in the candy shop first, because I know how sweet you are!" He says planting a kiss on my cheek.

"Sounds great," I say. Peeta opens the door for me as I hear the little bell attached to the door ring.

" Good morning mr and mrs Mellark!" Pete, the clerk greets us.

"Hello Pete!" I say with a smile. As we walk farther in, I see a mother and her two children. How beautiful. She had a baby boy cradled in her arms, giggling and smiling as he attempted to choke a word out, but didn't quite get to. He couldn't have been more than one. Holding her mothers arm shyly, but playfully is a beautiful little girl, who was maybe about four, with beautiful long orange curls falling down her back and sparkling brown eyes. She was admiring a colorful lollipop in which she tried convincing her mother to buy her.

I smile at that sight. I glance over at Peeta who is staring, too. He looks as if he's in deep thought.

That image, though is beautiful, the though of a happy family. Beautiful child-

Oh my god, what was I thinking. Now I'm thinking how nice a family would be. Peeta's been convincing me forever is what it feels like. Don't ask me why, but he does. It seems every time he asks me he starts feeling a little more uncomfortable. Hm.

"Cmon," I gesture over to a section with many sweets. Peeta snaps back to reality and follows my lead.

Later on, we stop at a few more shops and take a break to eat lunch. We both walk down into the meadow by a large patch of small white daisies.

I sat the blanket and myself down and Peeta sat beside me.

"Beautiful day, isn't it?" He says.

"Oh yes, it's lovely," we both lay down and I rest my head on his shoulder. I pick a few daisies out of the patch and start weaving them together to make a flower crown.

A few minutes later, i placed the delicate on my head and Peeta speaks up.

"You were born to wear that crown," he says softly.

"Not really, the only thing I really did was start a rebellion that almost ruined the whole world."

"Katniss you stood up for what you believed in and didn't let anything stop you, even if it took a lot of courage and bravery. You should be proud." He says meaningfully.

"Yes, but what I believed in was wrong,"

"No it wasn't, Katniss, there is no wrong or right but in your case it became right, you see what I mean? You are fit to wear that crown." I did see what he meant, but I didn't. I don't know, it's a bit of both.

"Okay, I guess your right," I say as I finish making it sturdy on my small head.

The rest of the picnic, we laid down and didn't even bother to touch our food. I looked up at the clouds and noticed something.

"Hey, Peeta, look at that cloud, it shaped like a heart. Aw!"

"That's amazing," he said. "Look, there's a cat, and it looks just like buttercup! Hah!"

"That dumb cat!"
