Katniss' POV

No.no no no no no no no no no. Prim gave me a test. I took it, for her. Ugh. Now, what's right in front of my eyes is +positive.

Nonononono. How will I tell Peeta? Or prim. I lock the door and throw the test to the other side of the room. Why should I live anymore. I can't take care of a kid! I can barely take care of my own self.

I try to silently choke down sobs as I sit- my back against the door. I start to hear distant footsteps. "Katniss! Katniss are you okay?" One name. One syllable. Prim.

"I'm fine go away!" I yell. I think she heard me sobbing, too. What am I supposed to do with my life?

I know one thing and only one thing to do, I think, with a smirk on my face.

"Katniss please let me in!" She pounds on the  door realizing it's locked. "What's going on? Please tell me what happened!"

"No!!" I cry out.

"Katniss let us in!!" Peeta. Then against me. Who will win? Them. I reach for the one and only thing that I'll ever need anymore

A razor.

My hands shaking- my fingers fumble to turn it on. It's sharp cutting blades start vibrating as it touches my smooth skin . The arms. The wrists. The ankles. Anywhere reachable.

Blood is now all over the floor as I'm crying so hard no tears are coming out.

"KATNISS EV-MELLARK OPEN THIS DOOR!!!" I hear Haymitch shout. They must hear the razor.

I throw the razor into the shower and quickly unlock the door and go in with it. They break in as I touch my fragile cuts from the razor blades.

The shower curtain is immediately torn and all three of them stand looking over me covering their mouths and starting to cry.

"Im-I-I'm pregnant," I cry out as I start hyperventilating.

"KATNISS WHAT?" Peeta asks angrily, not because of the kid but my behavior.

"I said it. I'm pregnant." I cry. Haymitch gasps and Peeta cries more.

"WHEN DOES THAT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO ACT LIKE THIS?" Haymitch yells.

"Katniss wake up." Peeta says and touches my shoulder.

"Peeta," I sob," it's not a dream aghh calm down honey."

"Katniss, wake up. Wake up baby."

"Cmon honey it's lunchtime you gotta wake up." Peeta coaxes me as I find myself awakening in bed.

Whoops another short one.... Okay if you don't understand the last part it should make more sense next chapter (I can't explain now or spoilers) and I'll explain at the end of that! Plot twists coming !! Enjoy!
