Juliet Lyons has created a different kind of vampire/human world in Dating The Undead. In this story humans are aware that vampires exists. Unlike other stories not all vampires can turn humans so forget about the normal human/vampire love story. Only two vampires are able to turn humans and no one of them is not the love interest. I liked that Juliet Lyons created problems that aren't normally in vampire love stories and that the villain wasn't an easy kill. I like when there's more struggle than the mains just showing up and killing the villain. Also Juliet Lyons added detailed back stories to her vampires than weaves into the story perfectly. Also to warn any of you who are sensitive to anything that has to do with religion there are references to biblical stories,but unlike others it's not the main focus. So I think it won't matter if you don't usually like stories that include that. Juliet Lyons simply uses one of the stories to explain the background stories of some of the characters. This story was another one of those stories I've left unread in my library and when I did finally read it I did it in one go.
