Many times I have added books to my library just because they were on the Hot List. Unfortunately, not all of them turned out to be worth reading. So, I decided to create Worth R...

At first while reading the synopsis I didn't want to read Vincent Territory because of the twins part, but then I kept reading and found out RW wasn't doing the normal twin thing. I hate the stories that make it to where twins automatically have the same mate. It makes no sense to me. Just because their twins doesn't mean they're the same person. To me it's just an excuse to write about threesomes or however many more there are.
Some don't even make the characters twins. Their main character goes through some sort of disaster and has to move in with eleven boys who all happen to be their mate somehow. How does that even make sense? They just want an excuse to write freaky sibling things. My friend also told me about how some of their sex scenes go and it's just–No.
(I don't understand why she's into those books. Makes me question her a little.)
Anyway, Vincent Territory is about a girl who is abandoned by her parents and abused by her pack. (Cue the eye rolls.) RW doesn't focus too much on it though. (It's not that cliche.) One night while being attacked by one of her pack mates she almost gets raped. Alexis decides to finally run away. Obviously she runs into Vincent Territory and meets her mate. (Hence the title.)
What I like about this story is that unlike other stories it takes until chapter thirty two for them to kiss. Most stories make out the mate to be cold, strong, and unfeeling yet they give in easily. Payne doesn't do that and thanks to RW we have insight to his inner struggles from his POVs. Payne and Payge have gone through a lot because of their father making it difficult for them to deal with certain situations. The Twins deal with the difficulties to convey their feelings and deal with their past, but Alexis helps both of them.
P.S. Payge has her own story about finally finding her own mate after already getting pregnant from another man. Not only does she have to deal with getting her mate to accept her baby, but he is also a rogue. Which Payge has been taught to kill all her life. Now he's stuck with either getting revenge on the Vincent's or loving his mate. (Vincent Due)
