Synopsis-
"I don't know who you think you are coming here, and acting like you don't care about anything. Listen here Princess, because I'm not going to repeat myself. Here's a couple of rules that I'd like to enlighten upon you. Number one, you don't talk back to me. And two, you don't mess with me or the rules.",his breath fans my face and I close my eyes.
(Enlighten upon you? For real?)
The poximity between us was terrifying.
"I've felt with many bitches like you, so I suggest that you follow those rules, unless you want to end up like them",he leans in mouth lingering by my ear,"used."
"...You might think that you run this place,but you don't run me. Understand? And the sooner you understand that, the better it'll be for the both of us.",I warn staring right into his eyes walking away. I was more than amused by his dumbfounded expression.
I stop turning back around to face him,"And one piece of advice,know what your fishing before you start fishing. What if you find a shark and it reels you in instead?
(I get it,but seriously?)
(I'm thinking about rereading it since it's being rewritten. Now that I'm looking back at the synopsis it sounds so cliche,but according to my original review it gets better.)

Yes,there is street fighting in this story,but not to where your rolling your eyes. Some of the dialogue might do that though. BIAU is about a girl who moves away from her home in Canada to get away from her abusive father. (Again, no eye rolls like the usual abuse stories.) At her new school she is hoping to start fresh and become a better version of herself. Riley's plan doesn't work out when she meets Heath, who happens to be her roommates brother.
(Convenient.)
Their hate for each other turns into a prank war. (No eye rolls, the story isn't based on a prank war between immature idiots.) blah blah blah -> Heath and Riley have more in common than just basketball. For those of you who love love-triangles there is one,but for those who usually have second lead syndrome like me don't worry about it. I didn't like the other guy he was too sketchy. The ending is good and yes there is a sequel.

Okay so far with the rewrite I'm not that impressed. There isn't that much improvement it seems like it was only edited slightly. There are only five chapters as of right now. (I think.) I'll update on it later. Hopefully the writer has more plans for it since it's only the beginning. I like that the rewrite is in the same place though.
