Synopsis|

Usually when it's a slave/vampire story it's always the "he's abusive and treats me like shit, but somehow I love him anyway!" Royal Pain is not like that. In this story Violet lives in a world were vampires rule over humans. There was a war between the two and the vampires won. Now once a human turns sixteen they must go through the process of becoming a slave and serve until discharged. (I don't remember if it's only for a few years or until the owner releases them.) Violet is at first unwanted because she becomes damaged. (A punisher tripped her and caused her ankle to bruise.) Eventually the high prince (👀) takes her to shut his parents up about not having his own slave. Rumors have been spreading of a rebellion. Violet never thought they were true until Aiden forces her to help him against them.
