Chapter three

Arianna had waken up.
Ari: Wha... What happened?
Kat: You've been unconscious for god knows how long and we don't know what's happening to the world.
Rach: Do you remember anything that happened before you went unconscious?
Ari: Not.. Not really... All I remember is waking up and hitting my head on something hard. I don't know what though.
Jacob put Arianna down and she could barely stand. We all looked worried.
Ari: Have... Have you found everyone?
Kat: Not yet, we haven't found Katelynn, Hannah, or Luna.
Rach: I didn't know we were looking for those people.
She looked really on edge like she didn't want to find them. But they were my friends too and I cared about them.
Kat: Well we are.
Rach: Fine, but I don't think Ari should be walking, she can barely stand.
Kat: You're right, Jacob, do you think you can carry Arianna?
Jacob: Of course I can.
Kat: Okay, do you know where kate....
But right in the middle of my talking, the ground started to shake. We were very confused as to what was happening. The ground was splitting apart. We all grabbed each other but were soon pulled apart. I fell down one of the cracks and my friends fell after I did. But we didn't die. Instead, we were floating in mid air above the ground where we would've died. Then the gravity came back and we dropped. I looked around. We didn't know where we were. We were looking at each other with such confusion. Then a voice spoke.
Voice: I've been expecting all of you and here you are. I want to give you something that I think you'll find useful. Please, use them carefully and wisely.
Suddenly, we all fell backwards at the same time. When I got up, I felt like I came back from the dead. I felt like I could run a marathon. So I did... And I was back in 5 secs.
Austin: How did you do that?
Kat: I don't know, I just ran. Hang on a sec...
I had another feeling that I could fly high as a bird. I started levitating. After that, I flew out of  the crack in the ground and was as high as the clouds. I could see everything. After a couple minutes of looking at everything around me and what was happening to the world, I came back down and landed on the ground. Everyone was testing their new powers that he had given us. Jacob made a cut on his arm and something came out of his fingers that healed it. I was amazed and astonished. He was also able to teleport. He scared the shit out of me when he appeared out of thin air next to me. Zek was able to copy any super power he wanted from someone else. If we wanted it, he'd get it. He copied my power to fly and flew towards me and lifted me in the air. A second later, we were chasing each other around the inner crack. When we got tired, we rested and I  saw Arianna, Rachel, and Austin testing their powers. Arianna was able to control water. She lifted her hands and water came up from under the ground. She made a waterfall out of it and we all got wet. After that, I came back down and watched the excitement. Rachel had the powers to be invisible and shape shift. She disappeared and I don't know where she went. Then she came up behind me and scared the crap out of me. She just laughed. I laughed too but I wanted to punch her for scaring me. I sat down cause I was out of breath. Then she shape shifted into a wolf and sat down next to me. And soon Jacob was sitting next to Rachel and zek was sitting next to me. Austin had the power of telekinesis. He lifted a rock in the air and pushed it towards one of the walls. It got smashed into a bunch of tiny pieces. Pretty soon, we were all sitting next to each other. Zek pushed Austin playfully, but austin took it offensively. He lifted zek in the air and threw him against one of the walls. I ran over to zek and he seemed fine. But I was pissed. I ran to Austin and lifted him in the air. I started to choke him, but zek stopped me before I could do anymore damage. When we got back to the ground, I punched Austin and so did Rachel, Jacob, and zek. Then we heard the voice again.
Voice: I hope you guys are happy with your gifts. You should probably get going. You know your way out.
K: Everybody grab onto me and zek. We're gonna fly out of here.
And so everybody grabbed onto either me or zek. Rachel shape shifted into an eagle. Once we were out, I put everyone down on the ground.
Zek: Holy shit, it's already dark out.
Jacob: Arianna, how are you feeling?
Ari: I feel a whole lot better, thanks for asking.
Jacob: No problem.
Rach: Okay, we need to find a place to set up camp. Katie, can you fly up there and see where we should set up?
Kat: What about the others? We still haven't found them.
Rach: Ugh... Fine, where does katelynn live?
Jacob: She lives west from here. I know that.
Rach: Okay, let's go.
