Chapter fifteen

Everyone was staring at me.
Katie: Okay, look. I do have a secret but I'm not ready to tell you guys yet. Understand?
Everybody nods.
Katie: Good, now let's find another car. I'll fly up and find one.
Zek: I'll go with you.
We both fly into the sky and look for some kind of road with a car big enough to fit all of us. Zek finds one and points to it. We fly over to it and it's an RV. I go inside to see if it's safe. It's empty. Zek goes to the back of it and lifts it up. I go to the front and lift and we fly it over to where the group is. We set it down and I could tell they were all just talking about me. Everyone looks at me and then they pile into the RV.
Rachel: Who's gonna drive?
Arthur: I will.
Rachel: Okay.
Rachel goes to sit down on one of the couches and you can tell she's very sore and weak. She winces in pain as she lays back. I go to sit next to her.
Katie: Hey boo, are you gonna be okay? How do you feel?
Rachel: Terrible, but I'll be fine. I just need some rest.
Katie: Okay, do you need anything or are you okay?
Rachel: Im fine boo.
Just then I wince.
Rachel: Are you okay Katie?
Katie: Yea, I'm fine. I just need a minute. I'm getting car sick. 'Oh no.'
I run into the bathroom and close the door. The next minute, I'm puking over the toilet. When I come out, everyone looks at me. None of them knew that I get car sick so they all looked worried. I turned around and went to the back of the RV where the beds are and closed the door and lied down on one of them. I started to hold my stomach and doze off, but then I heard the door open. It was Zek.
Zek: Are you okay sweetie?
Katie: Yea, I'll be fine, just a little car sick is all.
Zek: Are you positive?
I started to get nervous and panicked.
Katie: Actually no, there's something I need to tell you, but you must promise me that you won't freak out when I tell you and that you won't tell the others, not yet at least.
Zek: I promise.
Katie: Do you remember when we were staying at katelynns house for that one night.
Zek: Of course. Wait.... Are you saying what I think you're saying!?
Katie: Shhhhhh. And yes. Zek, you're gonna be a dad.
He smiles so fucking big and looks like he's the happiest man alive. He then gets off the bed and picks me up and spins me around. He puts me down and takes a knee and whispers into my belly, "Hi there little one, I'm your daddy and I can't wait until I can hold you in my arms. I will show you a beautiful world and you can have it all!But until that day, don't cause your Mami too much pain okay little one?" And he kisses my stomach.
Then we sit back on the bed and he holds me close to his body and we cuddle for a couple seconds. That's when I need to use the bathroom again. I rush to the door and open it to find everyone on the floor in front of the door. 'Dammit.'
Rachel: I'm gonna be an aunt!!!???
Jacob: I'm gonna be an uncle!?
Arianna: I'm so happy for you guys!!!
As they are saying all of these things I am trying to get to the restroom, and once I do I'm blowing chunks into the toilet. I hear the door open behind me and it's Rachel. She grabs my hair and holds it back for me.
Katie: Thanks sis.
Rachel: No problem love.
I back away from the toilet and now I'm crying. She wipes my tears and helps me up. She leads me back to the bedroom and I lay down on the same bed I was laying on earlier.
Rachel: You need some rest.
She puts the blankets over me and I fall asleep. Im a very heavy sleeper and about an hour later, I feel something behind me and it's zek. He's sprawled out on the bed and I get closer to him and wrap my arms around him. He does the same and holds me tightly and doesn't let go. He then kisses my head and we both fall asleep again.
