Felix's POV:

Dancing around the fire with the other boys is exhilarating. I let out a shout followed my many more around me. This feeling is the best thing I've ever felt. The feeling of being free, and nobody telling you what to do. No worries or cares in the world. No rules or regulations. Just us and Pan, our savior.

I glance to my right and see Pan, next to him is a girl. I turn back and continue dancing then do a double take, before breaking away. I lower my hood as I approach them, curiosity settling in me. But, I don't ask questions. I just nod at Pan in respect, who nods back, before I look towards the girl curiously.

"Felix, this is Lily. Lily, this is Felix. He's my right hand boy. I found Lily on the beach lost and confused, and brought her back here for food. Feed her, introduce her to the boys then report to me." I nodded, and went to take her by the arm, but she flinched and backed away from us until her back was up against a tree.

"Don't touch me!" She stated, and Pan frowned.

"Look, I have stuff I have to take care of. I need you to go with Felix, let him feed you, and then he'll introduce you to the boys and bring you back to me. Okay?" Pan says slowly.

She hesitantly nodded, before slowly following me towards one of the tents.

Entering the tent, I grab an apple and some bread and hand it to her. Leaning back in a chair, I watch her nibble on the bread. She shifts under my intense stare.

"Where did you come from?" She looks up when I speak.

"I don't know. I can't remember anything. All I remember is my name." She answers back quietly. "Where am I??"

"You're in Neverland. The land where time stands still and you never grow up." She looks at me crazy. "I can tell by that look, that you don't believe me. That's okay. You'll understand soon enough. Finish eating, so we can go."

She finishes her bread and apple, and I lead the way out of the tent towards the bonfire. I give a long whistle and all the boys stop celebrating, and look towards us. They start noticing her standing next to me, and begin talking amongst themselves.

"It's a girl."
"What's a girl doing here??"
"What's going on?"

A couple of the boys asked.

I watched them all before speaking. "This is Lily. Don't touch her, and don't bother her. Just make her feel welcome. She's only here temporarily. Y'all can introduce yourselves later. For now I must return her to Pan. Lily, lets go." I say, and start leading her towards the biggest treehouse. "You can go up and wait inside. Just don't touch anything."

She nods and starts climbing, and I watch her go, before walking away. I head towards Pan's Thinking Tree, and see him perched on a branch. I quickly ascend the tree and sit next to him.

I don't say anything, I just stare ahead. He breaks the eerie silence after a moment.

"There's something different about her, Felix. Her energy is different from anything I've felt. It's brighter, and hotter. I don't believe she just appeared on Neverland. She came from somewhere. She had to." Pan states, before holding up a green translucent fish scale. "I found this where I found her. It can't be a coincidence."

I take the scale, and study it carefully.

"You think they know something??" I ask, as I hand the scale back. He shrugs, but I can feel the unease coming off him in waves.

"The chances are they do, but if they do know something, they won't tell us. They may be evil bloodthirsty creatures, but they're very smart. They won't tell us anything." He states angrily, and stands up on the branch.

He glances over at me.

"Where's Lily??" He asks.

"She's in your treehouse, waiting on you. I told her not to touch anything, but the chances of her listening are very low. I asked her where she came from, but she said she doesn't remember anything. Do you think she's lying??" I ask, as I watch him think.

He slowly shakes his head. "I don't think so, but just by watching her, I can tell she doesn't trust anybody, and doesn't like to be touched."

"It looks to me like she trusts you. But, maybe that's just because you're the one who found her. I don't know. I just think she's strange." I say, before jumping down out of the tree.

"Whatever you decide, I'll be with you until the end." With that said, I start walking back to camp, leaving Pan to his thoughts.

As I enter the camp, some of the boys approached me in a rush.

"Why is there a girl here Felix?? Who is she??"

I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose in slight frustration. "I already told you. Don't worry about it. She's only here temporarily. Let Pan deal with her. She's not our problem."

They grumble, but seem to accept that and back off. I walk away, towards my tent. I pause at the flap, and look back up at Pan's treehouse. I watch as Pan ducks inside and closes the door.

I really hope you know what you're doing Pan. I think to myself, before entering my tent and laying down. I close my eyes, and listen to the shouts of the boys, and I listen beyond that to the birds and crickets, and streams. I let darkness take over as I fall asleep.
