Felix's POV:
Rising from the sand, I grab my bow, and head back to Tinkerbell and Pan.
I can't believe she's gone just like that! What am I going to tell Tink?? I promised to make her pay, and now what do I do?? And who was that girl that was taunting me?? She was certainly fast; that's for sure. Lost in thought, I don't realize I have arrived until a voice snaps me from my thoughts.
"Felix??" I look up at Pan's voice, and see him and Tink watching me. "Did you find her??"
I glance at Tink, then at Pan. "Um, kinda. I do and don't know where she is." He furrows his brows.
"What does that mean!?! Where is she!?!" Pan shouts and I flinch.
"Um, I think she's back in the ocean. I heard her scream from near the beach, and then nothing. So, yeah." I answer back.
"Dang it Felix! I trusted you to make sure she was safe!" He yells at me.
"I tried! Something must have helped her!" I yell back. I turn, and leave, but not before gesturing at Tink with my eyes to follow.
A moment later, Tinkerbell joins me as we walk away.
"What happened Felix!?!" Tink asks sternly.
"I was headed to the beach, where I thought she would be; but someone was following me. They were antagonizing me. It was a girl, but I never saw her; only heard her voice, and even that was distorted. She was mocking me. Then I heard Lily scream, and took off towards the beach. She was laughing while she followed me; never revealing herself. I got to the beach, and it was empty. She left, but she said something else first. It's kind of nerving." I say.
"What did she say??" Tink asks curiously.
"She said, "I've done my job. Good luck ever finding her again. When she returns, she'll know everything she forgot. She'll be stronger than anything you've ever faced before. You won't know what happened until it's too late. So, on that note, have a good day.", It's very nerving when you think about it." I say watching Tinkerbell's reaction.
"She said she'll be stronger than anything we faced before, but in what way does she mean?? Does she mean mentally or physically??" She finally asks after a moment of silence.
"I don't know, and that's what makes me nervous. How are we going to fight against something we don't know anything about??" I ask her, and she looks at me.
"Well, obviously we'll train. We'll train harder than ever before. But, mentally?? I'm not entirely sure, but I have a friend I can ask." She says.
"Okay. So, you go and start training the Lost Boys even harder. I'll go talk to my friend and see what she can do." I look at her curiously, but I nod. "We got this Felix! We're not going to let that monster ruin what we've built for ourselves here. I'll die before I let that happen, will you?!" She asks sternly.
"Of course. This is our home, and I'll die protecting it." I say back.
She nods and says, "Okay. Then let's do this." She turns and heads back the way we came, while I continue back towards the camp.
If it's a fight she wants, then it's a fight she'll get. I think to myself as I march back to the camp to start training the Lost Boys. We'll need everyone to be stronger.
Tinkerbell's POV:
I really hope she'll help us. It's not like she owes me or anything, but I'd appreciate it. It's also difficult to ask her for this. I know I shouldn't tell her anything, but if I don't and she finds out later she's going to be furious.
I hear a branch snap to my left breaking me from my thoughts. I head in that direction following any sound I hear. A voice speaks up behind me, stopping me in my tracks.
"I know why you're here, Tink, but what's in it for me??" I turn and look up at Kat leaning against the trunk of a tree with her arms crossed; staring down at me.
"Honestly, I don't have anything I can offer you. I was just hoping you would help out an old friend. I fear for everyone's safety on this island. And, Peter refuses to see the danger. So, he won't help train us, and it's gonna get everybody killed. Please Kat. You know I wouldn't be here if I didn't think it was important." I say urgently, praying she'll say yes.
She watches me for a moment before sighing, and stepping off the branch. I watch as she slowly floats to the ground, and holds her hand out. I grab it and she pulls me close to her.
"I'll go with you, because I know you wouldn't be here otherwise. But, I'll only help if Pan says it's okay and he trains, too. This is his island. I will not undermine him, by going behind his back. You will tell him the truth, do you understand me??" She whispers sternly in my ear. I nod slowly, knowing she's right.
She pulls back and releases me. "Alright then. Let's go." She starts walking back the way I came, towards my home. I trudge behind her, knowing that when we get there I'll have to tell Peter everything. By doing so, I'll make him hate me. It's for the best, but it's going to hurt so badly.
