I sigh as I sit up in bed, looking over at the charging table. My suit was lying on the table, and one quick glance told me it was fully charged.

Took the damn thing long enough.

I groan, pulling myself up from the hard mattress and walking over to the suit. I smile as I slip into it, sighing at the familiar velvety inside. Little rollers inside the suit activate, giving me a full-body massage as I walked through the abandoned house; relaxing my strained muscles.

I open the cupboard, scowling when I saw how high up the glasses were. God damnit, when was I going to move all of those things down to the lower shelves?

I sigh, closing my eyes and focusing, feeling the electrons in my body buzz and move to my hands and feet. I sigh, opening my eyes and pressing my palms against the wall; smirking when I felt the stick. I quickly pull myself up the wall, grabbing the glass and then sliding back down.

How did I do that? Well, by altering my electron attraction I can make my body attach to walls and other surfaces and scale them like Spider Man. It was quite a useful skill actually.

As I pour myself a glass of milk, I turn on the news in my helmet; the audio playing through the inner speakers.

'HOTEL BURNS DOWN. MEANWHILE, POLICE INVESTIFATE MASS MURDER AT LOCAL BEACH.' flashes across my vision, and I smile.

I didn't know anything about the beach, but I knew what had-or to be more specific, who had- burnt down that hotel.

Oh Sky, how long did you think you could hide from me?

I chuckle, downing my milk and grabbing my school bag; running out to the yard. I warm up my jet packs, jumping into the air just as they turned on; blasting me upwards.

I soar through the air, activating my suit's phone and texting Sky.

What's up?

I wait a little bit, laughing when Sky answers back almost immediately.

Lazor-Man: Nothing, you?

He didn't know, did he? That I had seen him at the hotel last night? I smile when I saw the school, turning the jetpack up to maximum power. I land right when I see Sky's bus pulling up, sending one last text.

I saw you at the hotel.

Sky hops off the bus, and I wait eagerly for his questions of how I had seen him, what was I talking about, I must've been mistaken; but none came. Sky smiled at me like normal, and as we joked about his slow bus driver; I wondered if Sky had seen the last text.

Maybe the Wi-Fi cut out right before I sent it, and he didn't get it.

I hold back a groan of annoyance; of course my moment to send Sky into a mini panic had been interfered with. When we got to our lockers, I saw that Ty was already there and listening to some music. I walk over, slightly confused when I heard him talking to himself.

"No buddy, I wouldn't forget that anytime soon." Ty whispers, chuckling. I raise an eyebrow, who the fuck was he talking to?

"Who're you talking to?" I ask, seemingly scaring the ever-living-shit out of Ty before he looks up and me and shakes his head.

"No one; just talking to myself. Didn't get much sleep last night."

The urge to reply with 'bullshit' was strong with this one; even someone that was insane didn't talk to themselves while saying 'buddy'. Did Ty have an imaginary friend perhaps?
