Pete's POV

Well, tonight's the night of the "holiday bash", as Brendon says it. I'm also thinking, tonight's the night I should tell Patrick how I feel about him, you know? It seems very cliche, but I'm basically every cliche in myself.

It's either tonight will be a disaster, or the best night of my life. It all depends on one person; Patrick.

I've decided to help Brendon out with setting up. We've got a couple other guys helping too, and that's including Ryan. The cafeteria's not very big, but we managed to get all the decorations to fit.

"Okay guys, the band should be arriving at around six, so we've got like an hour," Ryan said.

"I think we'll have enough time, all we really gotta do now is set out the snacks and the board games," I told him.

"Speaking of snacks," Brendon said cheerfully, "I brought some decorated cookies!"

"What kind?" I asked.

"All sorts, no peanut butter though,"

"Awesome, that'll be yummy,"

Brendon is extra excited about this, because he's the one who set this whole party up. He has every single detail planned. This kind of thing has never happened here at the ward, so we'll see how this goes. Should be fun.

15 minutes later, some guy in a suit walks in the cafeteria, he's got a group of guys behind him. He talks to Brendon for a bit, I don't know what about though. They finish and the guy in a suit walks up to us.

"So everyone, I'm the bands manager, this is Gerard, Frank, Ray, Mikey, and Matt," he said pointing to each person as he said their names. I guess someone decided to show up fashionably early.

We greeted them and they were all very nice. We showed them where they would play. There was no real stage, it was really just I big empty spot for them to set up.

We got to watch them practice a bit, which was cool. I think the bassist is pretty hot, too. Ha, wait I'm in love with Patrick. I can't forget.

*****

The party was just about to start, and I was going back to the room to get Patrick. God, I really hope he stays Patrick for the rest of the night.

"Patrick," I start to say before the door is even open. "Party's starting, we gotta go,"

"Uh, dude you might of forgot," he said pointing to our sweaters from Brendon.

"Oh my god,"

"At least we're not the only ones who have to, remember Andy and Joe?"

"Haha, oh yeah, well let's do it, I guess,"

We put the sweaters on and they looked so bad. Somehow though, Patrick made himself look cute in his. I really wish I could do the same.

Patrick's POV

There must have been, at most, 30 people here. Not very big, but maybe it's better that way. They also decorated very well. It was all reds and greens and whites. Low lit room, too for the nice effect. They had music playing from speaker, I guess until the live music starts.

We met up with Andy and Joe.

"Nice sweaters," said Joe, who was holding a glass of fruit punch.

"Thanks, can you guess who made them?" Pete said.

"No idea," Joe said sarcastically and they laughed.

"Guys, he made these out of love, remember?" Andy said.
