School. Luke had always been better in school, but you was always better in sports. You was basically a jock of the school, but a girl. You had gotten your grade card back, the grades not being fantastic but not bad either. Mainly just B-'s and C+'s, which your mum would be happy with.

"Hey mum." You smiled as you got into her car. Luke was running late because he had been kept behind by one of his teachers, probably congratulating him on his grades, like usual.

You was lucky it you got a B+. You was one of those people that couldn't care less about school. Luke was the person in your family cared about school more than he should.

"Hi sweetheart." She smiled at you, "You got your grade card?"

You nodded.

"And how are they?"

"All A+'s" Luke laughed getting into her car.

"Luke baby, I wasn't talking to you but that's great. Now Y/N, what about yours?" She asked.

"I don't know. I haven't looked." You told her, honestly.

She nodded.

"They're probably all C's." You heard Luke mutter.

You ignored him, but it hurt you deep inside. He was one of those perfectionist, and if you wasn't like him, you was considered stupid or an idiot.

Your mum pulled up outside of the house, you jumping out of the car and inside.

You threw the grade card on the coffee table in front of where your dad was sitting.

"Good grades?" He asked, making you shrug.

"I hope."

"Probably not." Luke sneered from beside you.

"Luke! Shut up! I can't help it I'm not into school as much as you are. I can't help I'm not as smart as you are! I can't help that I'd rather be playing basketball than studying for a test, that will mean nothing in the future, unlike you!" You shouted at him, "Quit comparing me to you! Don't you understand how bad that makes me feel? It puts me under your standards! Fucking stop or just quit talking to me."

He looked shocked, before muttering a small sorry.

"Y/N-"

"I know dad. I need to get my grades up."

"Y/N."

"Dad I know!" You groaned. Your mum pulled the card out of his hands, her mouth slightly falling open.

"Y/N."

"Not you too mum!"

"You made all A's and one B." This made you look up.

You jerked the card from here, your eyes deceiving you as you saw the grades on the card.

"This isn't mine." You sighed, "It can't be. I've never made this good of grade."

Luke grabbed it, looking over it.

"It's yours. It had your name on it." He smiled, "I'm so proud of you!" He grabbed you picking you up.

"I'm sorry Luke. You know, for going off on you." You scratched the back of your neck.

"It's okay. I shouldn't be comparing you to me." He smiled, hugging you.
