The visit

Eli's POV

Last few days.

This is my last week to work here at the Montecarlos and so far so good that I am not that distracted like before. Anton is nowhere in sight making it a little easier for me. The only thing making me sad is I will surely miss Marco. Poor child, he is sick. He started having fever since last night and both me and Anita has been awake. I really appreciate how she takes care of his son.

"Eli, Marco is sick and I don't want to leave him like this. Can you go to the office today and get some documents from Anton." Anita look at me with tired eyes as she lack sleep from last night. Most of the time she's the one awake.

"Go to his office?"

"Yes, I need those papers very much for next week. We need also to bring Marco to the doctor. The driver will accompany you while I prepare Marco then you can come back and we'll go together to the doctor."

"Okay." I slowly move. Am I ready to face him?

"Is there a problem Eli?"

"No none at all. I am just thinking maybe you have dress code in the office. The guard might not allow me to come inside." I joke. "I don't know if I brought casual clothes with me."

Anita laugh at my joke. She's used already of my blunt honesty.

"I informed Jane already, his secretary, that you are coming. I can't contact Anton as of now. He is in a very important meeting. He will probably finish when you get there."

I quickly dressed with my pale yellow knee length sundress and top with a knitted open sweater and my flat ons. I tied my hair in a messy bun.I think it is presentable enough. Why am I conscious of how I will look?  I'm not there for interview or for work.........I will just see him. No need for make up or anything, a lipgloss will do. He might think that I prepared for him.

Nothing to worry I will just get the documents and off I go. The driver will be waiting for me. It will just be quick. In a snap of a finger.

It's been two hours now I am waiting here in front of his office. Glad that his secretary is kind enough to give me some coffee. I sent the driver home already as Anita need him also for Marco. I will just take the train later. I hope I can get the documents immediately before five or else I can't catch the last trip of the train.

He is still in the meeting. For two hours?! I just hope he is in a good mood. But by the look of it he must be really tired. I saw him slowly approaching with a frown on his head. So this is the CEO thing. No fun at all.

"Eli?" He was stunned to see me. Maybe Anita did not yet talk to him.
I stand up to meet him.

"Hi Sir Anton. Ma'am Anita send me to you for something." He frowned thinking what is it. He took his phone and called Anita, I presume. "Wait here." And he went inside his office. I sat again and wait.......in a snap of a finger........

After few minutes, Jane ask me to go inside the office. Crap! Now I'm doomed. He could just have just handed the documents to his secretary and off I go.
I knock on the door of his office and come in. He is still on the phone. He motioned me to have a sit in front of him.
