Theo James as Flynn's beta, Alex!
Adelaide
I stood there, speechless, but still skeptical if I could trust him. A relationship was nothing without trust and he had lost it a long time ago. I had no idea what he wanted me to say, or if he expected me to give him another chance so easily.
'He is making an effort to make things right, Adelaide. Accept his offer, we cannot survive without our mate much longer.'
'You are biased, you will agree with everything he says no matter what.'
'That may be true, and you know that I love him. But, Scar has told me that he tried to talk Flynn out of everything he's done to us. Half of him is good at least.'
'I don't want half, I want all of him to be good.'
I looked at Flynn, to see him with a vulnerable look on his face. He had laid all the cards on the table, and it was my move. I couldn't help but think back to Claire, or the basement. It was permanently etched in my mind.
I couldn't move my lips to say yes because I was still so scared that he would just betray me like he has before. That crippling fear made my decision for me.
"I can't give you a chance until you prove to me that I can trust you, and put my faith in you. I have already given you two chances, and you betrayed me both times. If you can gain my trust back, then I will give you a third chance. But that's only if you can, and trust me, that will be damn hard." I said. Flynn looked determined, and ready to take on the challenge that I gave him. I don't know if I should be scared, or glad that he didn't tell me that he doesn't want to work for my trust again.
"Okay. I can respect your decision. After all, I was the one who betrayed your trust, and for that I am deeply sorry. I regret ever hurting you. This is all my fault and I understand why you aren't giving in. But mark my words Angel, you will be mine." He said, then left a kiss on my forehead before walking out the door. I stood their in shock, the little sparks still present on the spot where his lips met skin. I couldn't believe he just did that. I shook my head, and made my way to the small room that had been assigned to me, following Alex's instructions.
It was nothing special. It was a small room, just big enough to hold a small bed, a toilet, a sink, a small shower and a lamp. The walls were white, as were the bedding and the lampshade. There was no shower curtain, just a clear bit of plastic that would trap the water. My bag was thrown in a corner, by the tall lamp that rested on the floor.
I sighed, and pulled out a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt, since the room was rather cold. The room had a small window, which did little to force the cold outside. I threw my hair up, tired of it being on my shoulders all day. I was thankful that I didn't wear makeup, or else being in a room without a mirror or any means to remove it, would be awkward. I wouldn't want to have raccoon eyes.
I looked out the window, and up at the night sky. It was peaceful, with a slight breeze rustling the trees. I decided to open the window, to let the breeze in. There were bars on the outside, so I couldn't escape. But I didn't mind, it's not like I could leave Julian or Boone anyway. Plus, I liked sleeping in the cold so I could snuggle under a bunch of blankets.
I climbed into the creaky bed, and pulled the thin blankets over me. The bed was small, and if I were taller, my feet would hang off the edge. I tucked my hands underneath my cheek, and finally closed my eyes after the taxing day.

It had been a few days since the talk with Flynn, and things seemed to be running smoothly. The alliance had been questioning me more about The Collectors, and what their motives were, but the rules that had been drilled into my head for years prevented me from saying anything important or big. I only said small things, that seemed to ease their minds a bit.
