Adelaide Pierce has been a rogue for as long as she could remember. She goes from town to town in search of the people who have made her this way, who have turned her into the monster she is.
She is nicknamed The Violet Killer for she has ripped apa...
I gazed out onto the field of poppies beneath me, leaning against the cold concrete banister. The wind swept through my hair as I breathed in the unique scent of the ruby red flowers, tilting my head back slightly. The moon was full tonight, casting a ethereal glow onto the expanse of land before me.
I felt a warm chest press itself against my back, the person's hands running themselves up and down my arms. Magical sparks flooded my body as I grinned and leaned my head back onto Flynn's chest, sighing contently. His large palms moved down to cover my large belly, rubbing it slightly.
He leaned his head down so his mouth was closer to my ear, kissing it lightly.
"I can't wait to meet her." He said, rubbing my large bump slightly, and nuzzling my jaw with his nose.
"I think she feels the same." I smiled, as our baby kicked at his hands.
"Have you given any though to her name?" He asked, chuckling as the kicking continued.
"What about Reneé?" I asked, knowing Flynn secretly wanted to name our daughter after his grandmother. I loved the name, it just felt right.
"You'd do that for me?" He asked, turning me so that I would face him. His gorgeous eyes sparkled, reflecting the moonlight. I cupped his face in my hands, loving the feel of his beard against my palms.
"Of course I would, I'd do anything for you." I said, kissing him tenderly. He kissed back just as passionately, but pulled back quickly to pepper light kisses all around my face. I broke out into giggles as he paid special attention to the tip of my nose.
"I love you." He said, resting his forehead on mine.
"I love you too, forever." I said, running my thumb over his cheekbone.
As I gaze into my loving mate and husband's eyes, I'm reminded of all the hardships I had to face before I got into my happy state. But as I look back, I am thankful for them. I would have never met the love of my life it were not for the awful events that occurred in my life. He was my light, the father of my child and my love.
I'm glad I pushed through the dark, because without doing so, I would have been stuck in that self-destructive mindset forever. Flynn saved me, and I saved him.
I will always love him, no matter what.

Hello all my lovely readers! Well, this book has finally come to an end, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took the time to read this. I know that the ending is probably mediocre and very short, but I wanted to keep it short and sweet and have you guys guessing what was going to happen next. You guys definitely pushed me to finish this book, because a couple times I had considered stopping all together, so I thank you for that.
I hate when authors advertise their other books so I'm sorry, but now that I've written my first book I think I've actually gained some confidence to write another. Currently I have about seven chapters done on my next book and should be posting it soon, so if you liked this book please go check it out!
