I walked into English a few days later, without much difference in the social aspect of things.
"Hey Scarlet," Mr Urie smiled widely.
"Hi Urie." I replied, returning the smile.
"Do your homework?" He asked, getting up from his chair and leaning against his desk.
I thought for a moment trying to remember slightly worried, but in vain.
"What homework?" I asked, thumbling with my nails.
"You didn't do it, did you?" He asked.
"...No. Sorry." I said, slightly ashamed.
"Well, I'll let you off this time. But you need to do it next time, though."
I nodded my head and sat at my desk in the front.
Pretty soon other kids started filling the room, and I put my comic away in my bag.
About ten minutes into the lesson, a guy walked in with red long hair and black roots, and he was wearing very tight black skinny jeans, a leather jacket and a tight black button up shirt.
God he's hot.
Mr Urie instantly turned his attention to him and eyed him up an down suspiciously.
"And you are...?" He asked.
"Gerard. Way. This is my English." Gerard replied cooly, running his fingers through his gorgeous hair.
"Okay then, take a seat. And don't be late again." Mr Urie glared at him.
Geez, what crawled up his ass and died?
There were a few empty seats, but Gerard walked naturally to the desk next to me and sat down. I was internally screaming.
"Hi," He said, landing his bag on the floor and smirking at me.
"Hi. I-I'm Scarlet." I said nervously.
Why am I nervous?
"Gerard. What's got that guy's panties in a twist?" He asked, looking across at Mr Urie.
"He's not usually like this. Something else might just be bothering him or whatever,"
"You know him well? He been your teacher for a while?" Gerard asked.
"Yeah, I had him for English last year, as well."
He nodded, when Mr Urie turned his attention to us.
"Pay attention to the lesson, you're not here to talk."
Once he looked back at the board, Gerard and I shared a glance, a surprised one.***
Me and Gerard were fandoming about My Chemical Romance together, when Mr Urie cleared his throat and gave a post it note to Gerard.
"Could you give that to Mr Stump, please? He's on the other side of the school at room 3/22."
Gerard rolled his eyes and took the note and his bag.
"By the time I get back the lesson'll be over. Bye." He said, saluting.
"Bye." I said, waving back.
Mr Urie watched him as he left, and then returned to writing on the board.
I wonder what's got him in a mood today?
I passed it off and decided to ask him after school.***
"Yo." I said, making a click noise with my teeth.
"Yo." He mirrored, doing the same thing.
"So what's up?" I asked, putting my legs up.
"Nothin'. You?"
"Nothin'...what got you mad today, though, what's wrong?" I asked.
Mr Urie looked away, before looking back at me.
"Gerard...you like him, don't you?" He asked.
"Y-Yeah...I guess. Why?" I asked, curious.
"No reason."SORRY IT'S SO DELAYED...I JUST FOUND THIS CHAPTER REALLY DIFFICULT TO WRITE, AND I'VE GOT TO GET THE GERARD SITUATION OUT THE WAY BEFORE I CAN GIVE YOU ANOTHER CHAPTER. AND TRUST ME, IT'S DRAMATIC. YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS IT!
