Unexpected Visitor

When Monday finally came around, I didn't even realize it, it just felt like the dreaded week would last forever. I did my best to hide my depression, but some of my friends have been starting to notice that somethings going on. The dragging of my feet became more noticeable by the day, and it wasn't that hard to know I was out of it since my energy was kinda hard to miss. I didn't know that Jack made such a difference in my life until he was gone. Now all the day seem to blur together, and I can't even tell the difference between Tuesday and Thursday.

After visiting my locker and giving it a weak slam I walked towards my first period. After a couple of steps the warning bell rang, and people began to hurry to their first class, but my pace didn't falter and I kept going at my snail speed. Instead of heading straight to class I took a detour and went to the bathroom. I needed a dose of cold water on my face otherwise I wouldn't be able to make it through the day. Just when I made to the sink.

I blacked out.

When my eyes fluttered open I shot up worried about my first class, but I collided with another hard object sending me back to the pillow my head was under, groaning in pain, but my groans weren't the only ones echoing throughout the room. I slowly opened my right eye and made contact with a hazy pair of green eyes. I tried to get up a second time, though this time slowly.

"Woah, there!" Big hands come and ease my back down.

"Be careful!" A worried voice came out.

"H...hiccup?" I asked questioningly, although not sure.

"Huh? So you do remember me?" He said in an amused tone.

"Y..yeah? I guess? But why are you here?" I said really confused of Hiccups presence.

As my vision cleared up I saw Hiccup close up. His eye were a bright forest green with speckles of gold hidden in them, and his hair was light brown and spiked at the tips, there was also 2 short stiff braids under his ear. Weird, but kinda cute.

"Uh, why I'm here in the school or why I'm here in the infirmary with you?" He asked.

"Both."

"Well.....um.....I'm here in school because I was sent here to come in Jack's place, and for why I am here with you in the infirmary is because I was sent here to check on you? I guess? I'm not really sure I wasn't really paying attention to why they made me stay by you." He said, while playing with his fingers, and shrugged.

"Huh?" I said, as I looked around the room finally realizing that I was in the infirmary.

"Wait....why am I here?" I shaked my head trying to remember what happened before  I got here.

"You don't remember? You collapsed in the girls bathroom, a girl found you while she was trying to skip class." He said calmly, as he gave me his hand to help me up.

I grabbed his hand and slowly stood up, stumbling a little, my head still woozy.

"Wait!!!!! Sent here in Jack's place!!!! What happened to Jack!!" I yelled.

"Shut up!" He whisper yelled, slapping his hand on my mouth, cutting off my air circulation.

"Don't be so loud." He said while his hand still grudgingly placed over my mouth, enabling me to breathe.

I grabbed his wrist and licked the palm of his hand, and his hand was a meter away in seconds.

"Ewwww! Gross, what kind a girl are you?" He said irritated.

I giggled at his reaction.

"So I was suppose to just let my self suffocate to death?" I laughed.

"A "normal" person would find a "normal" way to handle the situation." He said wiping my saliva on my sleeve.

"Hey!!" I shrieked, pushing him playfully.

"Well, good thing I not a normal person!" I called back.

"Well, I know that now, obviously." He said smirking.

I gave him a glare, but it failed and turned into a angry pout.

"Well, it seems that your all better, so my job here is done!" He said.

All of a sudden I remembered why all this happened.

"Wait!! What about Jack!!" I grabbed his hand.

"I still have more questions!" I called.

"You will get them later, after school, Punzie." He said.

"My name is "Rapunzel" only my friends call me Punzie." I said, emphasizing Rapunzel so he gets the point.

"Oh, I'm so sorry "Rapunzel"!" He said sarcastically, turning down and bowing.

"Rapunzel" will get the information she seeks after school." He said, as he gave me a mischievous  grin, while bowing down.

"Rapunzel, is not pleased!" I said, crossing my arms, a little flustered from what he did.

He chuckled and stood up.

"Well then, I can't have that, can I?" He smiled.

"Oh, fine!" I agreed, grumpily.

"I have class now anyways." I said, looking at the clock, it was 5th period.

"Well, I will wait for you at the gate!" He said, turning away.

As I watched him walk away, I thought this was a dream come true, finally I would get some answers.

When Hiccup was finally out of view, I still stood there, even though I had to make it to 5th period, but my mind was too busy thinking.

Hiccup
Jack's big brother is coming to school in his place but why? since Hiccup in this story is older than Jack and is in college so why is he in Highschool? Find out in the next chapter since I didnt include it in this chapter!!!!  Yayayayayaya!

I also realized I almost alway end up ending in Rapunzel's p.o.v, huh? Weird.
