Today I was out of the hospital. The doctor came in early, and told me I was good to go. I only had to drink a lot of electrolytes, and more protein because he saw me a little too skinny. I was going to get dressed with normal clothes, and get off the hospitals ones, while my father was heading for the door. I reminded him of something.
"Father, you said you will tell me today," I said.
I had been insisting to know about the spell Leslie threw me. But I had no success last night, and he promised to answer all my questions today when I was good to go.
"We're not home yet, " he said "I'll be nice and tell you on our way, don't worry."
He then shut the door and I got ready.
The hospital was like any other hospital, but I still didn't know where I had come. It wasn't the one we usually go to when there's an emergency. The walls, the ceiling and the floor was all white. Meanwhile, the sheets and curtains where a dark blue. I honestly don't remember being here, it wasn't familiar at all.
"Where are we?" I told my father while we were walking in the hallway.
"In a hospital, obviously," he laughed.
"Really funny," I said. "I kind of already figured that..." I couldn't finish, I was shocked.
We suddenly entered the waiting room, and it wasn't close to being ordinary. A few people were there, but the ones waiting weren't the ones that surprised me. At the desk, two middle aged women were working with magic.
They had big binders out, and with their wands they flipped quickly through the pages, and then stopped when they found what they wanted. They called a name and put some papers together in a clip board, while a young woman was getting up towards the desk. When she was halfway, the clipboard landed on her hands. With her wand, she wrote some stuff on the paper, and when she was done the clipboard went back flying to the desk."We're in a wizard hospital, right?" I told my father after watching everything.
"Exactly," he said.
We went through the door, and what was out was even more impressive. It all looked like a big city, lots and lots of businesses around, people walking in the street, and what grabbed my attention even more was the huge castle I saw far away behind more buildings. It shone incredibly at the horizon, it looked like it was made of some kind of crystal, it was so white.
Then I knew where we were."Want to have a tour?" Said my father. "Not many from the outside come to the Imperial House anymore."
I just nodded.
We started walking down the street and I noticed there weren't any cars or sidewalks. It was just the plain street made of big stone rocks, and the businesses at the sides. Some were grocery stores, others were clothes stores, shoe stores, the kind of things you see at a mall in the human world. But when we turned to the other street...well I was shocked again.
There were all kind of plant and herb stores. Others were potion and amulet stores, meanwhile the biggest one had in big red letters MAGICAL INDUSTRY."What is this place?" I told my father.
"The magical supply street," said my father.
"What's with the big letters?" I said
"That's the place where wands and some other stuff are made," said my father.
"Oh..." I said.
"Come on, let's hurry," he said while grabbing my hand, and leading me to a store on the other side.
When we entered I was impressed once more. When will this stop being amazing?
The store looked very small from the outside, but inside it was a whole different thing. It was a two level store, full of many things I had never seen before. For example some carpets in different colors, some mini set of rockets, black caps, liquids in different colors, and ...
