Three, two, one. Breathe Alison, breathe. You are in a hospital and you have to stay calm. You don't want to do anything stupid.

"Okay. Let me get this straight. Explain everything again because I think I misheard," I told Bryan.

"Like I said, we aren't sure. It's a possibility, rumors, things people had in their thoughts during the combat," he said "Alison, we don't know but we will find out the truth."

"We all have to admit there's a huge possibility that's true, it will just explain a lot of stuff," said Kennedy.

"Finding out the truth about this isn't what worries me. The things we will find out in the way, that's what worries me. We don't know who she really is, how she knows all that magic or where she comes from," said Miguel.

The three of them had a worried look in their faces. A mix of concern and fear. My expression was different, way different. I was determined to get to the bottom of all this mystery, it didn't matter the cost. We could all be in danger and near our enemy, very close. He, or better said she, can be walking in the same halls as us in the academy.

"I'm going to unmask her," I said with strong and decisive voice "Who's in?"

"Do you even have to ask?" Said Miguel with that damn smile of his while getting closer to the side of the bed.

"You know you can count with me," said Bryan.
"And Kennedy too, definitely. I just said it for her, saved her some words."

I bet it's cool reading minds.

"So now what?" Said Miguel.

"We will think of something, hopefully soon," said Kennedy.

Fortunately, my brain was already working. We were all silence, thinking of a plan.
Leslie and I were fighting, during the combat. Strangely, the moment where a huge and very strong force hit me, made me go flying out, and hit the floor so badly; people's thoughts especially the ones from old wise wizards began to hypothesize what was going on. According to Bryan, a bunch of thoughts began in his head. Very intense thoughts as he said. He couldn't exactly tell from what exact person they came from, but could get to a pretty good conclusion from what kind of person it came from. He said a lot of thoughts were like "how she did that?" "Impossible," "She's crazy," "James Puternic is an asshole making the professors keep letting this go on," "Poor girl," and a whole bunch of other things. But what grabbed his attention was when he heard a couple thoughts like "Could that be dark magic?" Or "That has to be dark magic."

I don't know of a spell that can do that kind of harm. But she did, Leslie did. And for what my friends are telling me, I can be here because of that spell she threw me, not because of my "extreme" magic use without a wand. To add more, some teachers are wondering too about this spell. Bryan also said some teachers had tried to think of reasons that brought me to be in coma for days. They say, correction they think, that my magic use wasn't enough for me to end up in this state. They are also wondering about Leslie, and even have her in observation, but obviously she doesn't know.

"Probably, your dad can help us don't you think?" Said Kennedy.

"Do you think my father knows anything about dark magic?" I said "He just graduated from the academy, then went to college a couple of years to get an associate degree in defense and combat tactics. And back then they didn't have the brilliant idea your uncle did of teaching dark magic."

Back then my father worked a few years as a guardian for the Imperial House, but then quit. All these words didn't come out correctly, I saw how I kind of hurt Kennedy with them. It wasn't her fault all the things her uncle has done, and I was nobody to judge or blame her.
