The next morning was strange. I went to my locker and didn't find the missing yearbook, asked my friends if they had it and they didn't. The day went by very quick, mostly our professors were giving us big assignments and more homework for spring break. Thankfully they were letting us go home for a week, then we were back until the end of the school year. I was very excited because I couldn't be able to see Noah and Nelson only in pictures, because Melanie couldn't come. My father had been busy and couldn't come, and I only saw him and my mother at the beginning of the month. This just made me worry, something was happening and I didn't know. Probably, Wizards outside were still getting murdered and he didn't want to put himself in danger. We were safe here, and wizards outside were safe meanwhile they maintained a low profile. Suddenly, Kennedy interrupted my thoughts.
"It's strange that you lost the yearbook," she said.
"It's not lost, someone took it," I said.
"But who?" She said curious.
"I have an idea of who, but I want to be sure," I said thoughtfully.
"I don't need to be Bryan to know who your thinking," she looked at me and smiled when she saw what I saw.
Leslie was walking on the hall and she entered the restroom. Kennedy and I quickly walked to the restroom too, and didn't waste time. I entered and noticed Kennedy locked the door with a spell.
As expected from that little girl, she was looking at herself in the mirror. Fixing her contacts.
"I always knew your eyes ' color was as fake as you," I said getting behind her.
"What do you pair of freaks want?" She said. "I don't have time to get in trouble again, Ozera."
"I don't have time either, so let's get to the point," I said. "Where's my yearbook?"
"Pardon, me. What are you talking about?" She said.
"You know exactly what we are referring to. You have the yearbook, we want it back," said Kennedy standing in the door.
"Look, I don't have any yearbook," said Leslie defensively. She looked nervous. "Why would I have it anyways?"
"Don't know, don't care. I just want it back to finish my project, you were too mysterious the other day about it, so you're suspicious," I said.
"You just said it, I'm a suspect, it doesn't mean I have it!" She said and turned to the door. She couldn't open it. "Stole my trick."
"I don't want to fight, just give it back and once I'm done I'll give it to you if you want," I told her.
"I don't have it either, Ozera! Now let me go or I'll truly harm you this time!" She yelled, she was getting desperate.
Kennedy just looked at me, waiting for me to give an order. It was obvious Leslie wouldn't admit anything, and she wasn't going to give me the yearbook directly. I had to find yearbook some other way, in my own way.
I waved my wand and unlocked the door. Leslie left immediately.
"Do you think she was saying the truth?" Kennedy asked getting by my side.
"You're talking about Leslie McKay, of course I don't believe her," I said.
"What are you going to do?" Said Kennedy. "Alison you were warned to not get in anymore trouble."
