Chapter 1 ( Fear)

Mumbai here I am for my vacation. Simmi my aunt with whom I was going to spend the next two months was so excited with the feeling of being with her. Mom, Dad, and Divit my big Bro came to drop me at the airport. Mom and Dad were more over happy I was getting independent, but Divit my Brother was annoying me a lot coz he was not happy with the idea of me going alone to Mumbai. He is a bit overprotective for me always since childhood he didn't ever let any of his friends look at me. Even if any of his friend tried he use to scare the shit out of them, at first I use to enjoy, but as I grow up it started annoying me a lot. But I know all that was just to protect me coz he loved me alot. I am his baby instead of his sis, he always keep on telling this to everyone. Basically he loved me alot and even I love him more than mom,dad coz they both work though the week and when we needed them there were not around, but Divit and I were there for each other. Warm hands wrapped me and I was pulled out of my thoughts, here he was Divit gave me his bear hug implying take care I hugged him back tightly saying 'Bro I will be fine and you will be joining me next month so don't worry' he held back and gave me a sad smile and disappeared in the crowd. Mom told me 'you better go now your flight has been announced and don't worry he will be fine, its just that he never let you go alone before so he is bit tensed' I smiled and took my bag and boarded the plane.

It was first time I was travelling alone. Always Divit use to be with me and he took care of me, I can say he managed to keep the balance between his friends and me. I never remember his friends complained that he is more with me and less with them, actually he made me so comfortable with his friends that I spend more time with them then my own. As we studied in same school and college and he is a bright student or even can say all rounder every teacher expected same for me and I was average with studies and not even good with sports or other activities.

I was currently sitting on my seat, I was scared how I end up with this plane journey? and I turned my head to see the next seat but it was empty. The door was about to close when I Herd a male voice 'wait' and he hopped in plane and the steward's gave him there best smile, but they might be hating him for coming late then they pointed to my direction I mean seat next to mine. Fine, at least I have someone beside me now he came and sat on his seat. Plane started running, I got scared and my hands were shivering I closed my eyes and the guy hold my hand to comfort me and said 'hay, don't worry just think you are on a rollercoaster and enjoy' I opened my eyes and looked at him 'are you kidding me??? rollercoaster' I asked him then he just eyed at the window and said 'we already took off so you can relax now' I turned to see the window and we were surrounded by clouds. His hand was still holding my hand 'excuse me, if you mind can I !!!' I eyed to our hands and he pulled his hand back.

'Hay I am Advik' he extended his hand and I shook his hand 'I am Rati. 'Is this your first time you travelling in flight?' He asked me 'yes' I simply replied with embracement. 'Don't be embrace its OK I was also afraid when I traveled for the first time, but I was 10 when I flew first' he chuckled at his memory and I wanted to punch him its hardly few minutes we know each other and he is making fun of me. 'I am scared, I don't care if you make fun of me' I said rudely he raised his hand in surrender and said 'hay don't get mad on me I just wanted to make you feel better, but I guess I made you angry' with a raised eyebrow he said 'its OK I spare you this time coz its your first time' I said
Sarcastically, 'so there is chance that I can see you again' he said with a smirk. Then he told me about himself, his family, his friends and his business. My God he was annoying me now with his boring stuff I turned on the Mini TV screen in front on me and turned on the cartoon channel. Looney toones show was playing and I was laughing with gag's 'Are you serious' he asked me 'what???' I asked him 'I guess you are grown up now' he said 'what does it mean?' I asked him again he eyed at the TV and said 'you really enjoy watching cartoons at this age too?' I said 'is there any age to watch cartoon or have any one said only kids watch cartoon?' He said 'no but seriously cartoon?' I told him 'dude, you can think what ever you want I enjoy watching cartoon' and I eyed to TV again. And to my surprise he didn't said anything just read some business magazine.

Eventually the flight was about to land when pilot informed us to tie our seat belt. Again I was shivering with the landing feeling he again hold my hand to comfort me and it really helped me alot. I wanted to thank as soon as the flight landed I said 'thanks Advik you really made me feel overcome my fear.' He just shrugged his shoulder and said 'I am glad I can help you' we shake our hands and said goodbye to eachothers. I took my bag and went to see were aunt was waiting for me. My phone buzzed it was aunt calling 'hay little angel I am sorry I couldn't make it to airport, but your uncle is there to pick you' ya she always give nicknames to everyone of us 'ya its ok. But better come home early' I said to her and she said goodbye and hung up. Then I hunt for uncle and there he was tallest of all and waving his hand to me I chuckled and thought let's have some fun. So I acted as I didn't recognise him and went direct to exit. I saw his face flushed out and got confused. I walked in his direction but crossed him and left him behind I eyed him from corner of my eyes and he was following me. Tap on my shoulder I was smiling but I gathered my smile and turned to face him. He said 'hay you are Rati if I am not wrong?' With a raised eyebrow 'yes I am Rati' I said in calm tone. 'I am uncle Nil if you remember' he said with confusion in his tone, that was it I can't hold my laugh and let it out I laughted the hell out of me and he was staring at me like I am psycho. 'I am so sorry uncle, but I was just having fun' I said once I calmed down he ruffled my hairs and said 'its OK but don't do that again coz I was afraid if you didn't recognise me I would have to kidnap you' with a wink. And that was it we headed to his car as I mentioned before he was business man. Audi was waiting for us to ride back home the ride was good he told me about my aunt and his 5 year old son Agni. Yes he was my baby, aunt always use to take him to Dehradun for vocation. He was so sweet an when he was born everyone said he reminds them of miniature Divit and Rati. I was waiting to get home and take him in my arms I asked uncle to show me his picture but he just winked at me and said 'patience baby you will get to see him once we get home' he behaved like bro. That reminded me to call home they must be worried so I pulled my phone and called Divit 'hay Siso are you OK? Did you reach? Uncle did you find him? Got damn answer....!' I shushed him and said 'di let me speak and just calm down I landed safely and flight was awesome I will give you details when we Skype later. Yes uncle was there to receive me and now we are in car heading home....' Uncle snatch my phone and told Di 'little angle is grown up now she teased me at first place when I met her.' He had a smile on his face and even I smiled then he told whole story to Di then hung up. On the way home he told me that they have a flat facing sea and I will definitely love it. He pointed to the view outside and said this is called Marine Drive and here we reach it was a huge building. I was eyeing it until driver pulled my luggage out and placed in front of me then we headed inside we took the elevator and he told me we stay at 18th floor and my eyes were wide open when he said that it's going to be fun. We reached to our floor and he pressed the bell and there my baby Agni was he opened the door and jumped into my arms and I pulled him to a bear hug. Then we walked inside home and wow it was beautiful full wooden floor room, big LCD TV on the wall and a theatre system. Agni was holding my legs and said 'aunt you are going to stay with me in my room' he said with so sweetness that I picked him again and he showed me his room. Uncle followed us and whispered 'he is just kidding he didn't even sleep in his room for once' I smiled at his statement. I opened the door and his room was full boyish cars were placed on his table, bed was like a car and walls were painted with superheroes. Then he went to his bed and slept. I placed the cover on him and we left the room. Uncle showed me my room and it was full my type black and white, walls were painted with black and the furniture was white I loved I hugged uncle and said 'I loved it' we broke the hug and he walked to the curtain and pulled them off and my jaw dropped it was the best view sky and ocean meeting and the difference is hardly seen I was amazed with that and next thing I did was snapped some pics and pinged to my Bro. Uncle was observing me leaning to the door frame and said 'glad to see you smile that big after long time. Hope you enjoy your vacation' and waved goodbye and left. I opened my bag and took a long and refreshing shower. Then took a quick nap.
