Chapter 46: We have a problem

-Ashley's point of view-

"Faith don't play with your uncle Andy like that you could get hurt."

Faith: "don't worry daddy I'll be fine remember I get thrown in the air."

"Faith please your mother is trusting me you don't want to get hurt and your mommy not let me be around right?"

Faith: "she wouldn't do that plus uncle Andy wouldn't hurt me."

"Andrew be careful with get you know how Christina could be."

Andy: "dude she will be fine."

"She better be." I walked into the kitchen area to make Faith done hot coco we were going to watch a movie. Well she was going to watch a movie I was going to paint her toes like she asked. I could get used to this dad stuff. Then I heard a thud and Faith begin to cry. I dropped the mug and ran out there and there was blood. "What happened?"

Andy: "I thought she was done playing because she got on the couch and she jumped and hit my back and fail and I think she broke her arm."

"Call the ambulance. Jake get a towel!"

Andy: "what are you going to do?"

"First calm Faith down then call Christina."

Faith: "no don't call mommy she will be so mad at you and sad and no don't call her."

"Faith I have to sweetie. And calm down it will be fine."

Faith: "she is going to be mad and not want to let me be alone with you."

"Angelic my dear trust me if I don't tell her it will be worse."

-Christina's point of view-

CC and I were sitting there talking when my phone began to ring it was Ashley.

"Hey baby daddy what's up with you? I didn't see to many pictures of my baby girl today."

Ash: "Christina something happened." I sat straight up and furrowed my eyebrows.

"What happened? Put Faith on the phone I want to talk to her."

Ash: "I can't do that. And you have to promise you won't yell."

"Ashley Purdy what did you do? And fine I won't yell."

Ash: "I didn't do anything she was playing with Andy and he thought they were done because she got on the sofa but she jumped on his back but she hit it and didn't grip so you know how tall Andy is and she fell and we are in the hospital don't kill me."

"What do you mean you're in the hospital what happened!"

Ash: "you promised you would yell."

"No I said fine now put Faith on the phone!"

Ash: "I can't she is getting her bone put back in place because when she fall she broken her arm."

"When I get there two of you incompetent adults or man babies is getting out in the hospital!"

Ash: "how you are snowed in?"

"Ashley Purdy you know better than anyone that is my world and you better know damn sure I will be there." I hung up the phone and ran to my suit case grabbing a jacket and a shirt wrapping it around my hand.

CC: "Christina what's going on?"

"Grab s jacket and my purse I'm breaking this window and we are going to the hospital because your brothers and my sisters are incompetent adults."

CC: "who's in the hospital?"

"Faith!" I punched the window with my wrapped hand shattering it on impact.

CC: "wow your hand will be broken."

"Good thing we are going to the hospital." We hoped in the car and I sped to the hospital. I'm going to kill them.

CC: "you're going to kill them."

"I know."

-Ashley's point of view-

We all stood there waiting for something to happen anything. I was nervous not because I called Christina and she is going to put most likely me and Andy in the hospital but because Faith was entrusted to me and she wanted me to keep her safe and I let her down. I heard the door slam open and I turened to see Christina and CC standing there. Christina looked wild she was gorgeous as hell but she was was beyond pissed.

"Okay Christina I know what you are thinking but calm down."

Christina: "shut up Ashley I don't want to hear it." She walked up to the nurse and shr talked in a hushed tone until the nurse began leading her towards a room. Not to long after a doctor walked into the room.

"What the fuck is going on?"

CC: "she busted out a window and broke her wrist because it was frozen but you know Faith so her mother powers kicked in and she punched right through it." I looked at CC like he grew two heads and then turned to watch Christina walk out of the room holding her hand.

"Christina let me explain."

Christina: "Ashley I don't want to hear it. You don't understand how hard this is right now."

"Then explain it to me because it seems pretty damn hard for me too."

Christina: "Ashley she is four do you understand that? She has went four years of her life without anything bad happening. She has never had a broken bone she has never so much as skinned a knee. I have had her in cheerleading and dance. She has been fine and I trust you with her while you all try to play match maker for CC and I and she breaks her arm. I don't think you understand how hard it is to know that the embodiment of the love that came from your crazy ass and my crazy ass is having her fucking arm fixed because of playing with fucking gazelle legs over there! So no I don't think you understand how hard this is! And do you want to know why!? Because while I was planning on having a child you were planning world tours. While I was changing dippers and feeding bottles, you were signing posters and c.d.s. and drinking bottles of alcohol. While I was packing a future for our daughter you were living the life of a rock star. And while ask of this was happening I questioned everyday if I should have called you to have you be there for her and the one fucking time, the one time, I give you the chance you fuck it up! You don't know how hard this is because I wanted you to be good I wanted get to be safe with you and you let me down. Maybe I'm being mean because it is hard for me to believe you could be trusted with a child when I could trust you with a marriage! I know you were confided but really how stupid are you!"

"You can't really mean that?"

Christina: "okay not all of it but I am mad. Not as much as you but as myself because I promised her in the hospital bed when I have birth to her that I would never let anything in this world hurt her. Ashley do not hurt her and I won't be leaving you alone with her for a while or Andy ever!"

"I won't hurt her and I'm sorry I wasn't watching her closer. On a lighter note you and CC?"

CC: "yeah the plan worked."

"I'm happy for you guys." We all were around waiting for something even they finally asked for her parents. Christina and I stood and walked with the doctors to see Faith watching cartoons.

Christina: "hey baby girl, how are you feeling?"

Faith: "mommy are you mad at daddy because it wasn't his fault he told me not to do it but I still did and I'm sorry."

Christina: "yes I'm upset with your dad but also me. I'm sorry this happened baby."

Faith: "it's not your fault mommy but can we all go home now? And can I sleep in daddy's room?"

"Actually baby girl I think it would be best if you slept in your big girl bed until your arm is better."

Faith: "okay."
