Chapter 59: Save me

-CC's point of view-

"Ashley what do I do? She is so confused and clearly hurt. Plus she comes home in like a week. How are we supposed to explain the house and her cars and her businesses to her is she doesn't remember six years of her life. I can't just stand by and watch her be so confused."

"Well what do you want to do CC? She's your fiancee."

"She doesn't even remember that. And I don't know. I'll stay at the bvb house until she gets her memory though I don't want to push it you know."

"But maybe that's what she needs we both know she is stubborn."

"Yeah but we don't want to overwhelm her time will work it out. I'll just try to be her friend."

"You sure?"

"I did it once I can do it again." We continued with our work out. Christina has been in the hospital for two months now some days she is totally indifferent to what's going on and others will just set her off but lately she's been doing good. She is getting to reknow Faith and she comes home Friday. I still blame myself for what happened and I won't be okay until she is okay.

"CC! You have to pay attention dude you almost dropped a weight on my foot."

"Sorry bro just thinking."

"It's okay just focus haha."

-Christina's point of view-

"You'll be going home this week Christina."

"That's good I guess."

"What's wrong?"

"I keep feeling like something is missing you know. Like I'm here but I'm not here."

"Memory loss will do that to you."

"How do you over come it?"

"Well all wounds are healed with time. Much like your leg or wrist or ribs your brain is just a little more sensitive so it will take its time."

"And what if I wanted to rush it?"

" I don't know maybe try true loves kiss."

"Is that a joke?"

"Completely. I know it is frustrating Christina but it will happen in it's own time."

"Well I wish it would hurry up. By the way do you know who's ring this is?"

"Oh it was on your ring finger when you got here."

"Oh." I put the ring on and stared at it. For some reason it made me feel safe.

"Who knows maybe the person who gave it to you will save you from yourself."

"Maybe sometimes we all need to be saved."

-CC's point of view-

"Alright CC I'm going to go pick up Christina do you need anything while I'm out?"

"No it's okay Ash I just finished moving my stuff over I'm going to take a shower before I finish cooking."

"Alright dude see you soon." I heard the door shut and went to take a quick shower  all I really had to do was cook the meat for the spaghetti I know it's her favorite. I'll also make the garlic texas toast it's like her comfort food. I finished my shower and got dressed in some track pants and a muscle shirt I'm not trying to impress anyone. I was listening to one of her cds as I cooked and heard the car pull up as I set the table.

"You can't just expect me to believe this is my house. It's so big."

"Well there are a lot of aspects to it no worries you made it a home."
