The date went great, more than great. Dave thought it would be a good idea to watch a horror movie and to your surprise, he was the one to scream and hold on tight to your arm as the tension built up throughout the movie. He was nice enough to purchase popcorn and a soda for you two to share before entering which either way, he ate most of in the end, but you didn't mind. Once you sat down and all the light went out you felt Dave tense up and shudder, was the cool guy really scared of the dark? Around the twenty minute mark, Dave finally made a move and put his arm you, trying to seem like a smooth guy. After that, Dave nearly had a heart attack when a jump-scare appeared, making him bolt up from his seat and let out a rather loud yell in fear. You comforted him as he sat back down and you desperately tried to hold in a laugh. What a pansy.
During the drive to your house, you two talked on and on about your interest and to your surprise, Dave wasn't much different from you. You knew he was quite skilled at being a Dj and he showed you a few songs he made. "So what do you think?", he asked as the last song finished from playing on his car radio. "There were surprising good for a boy who made this in his room with not much time" you replied with a sly smile.
Dave drove up to your house and just as you turned to thank him for the date, he lightly pressed his lips against yours. You were taken aback by this move but didn't protest. As he pulled back slowly, his cheeks turn a crimson red. "Th-thanks for the date" mumbled with a small smile across your lips and messy hair trying to cover your bright red cheeks. "See you at school, doll face", he said as he gave you a smirk and lowered his sunglasses to give his typical "cool guy" wink.
You left his car and waved goodbye as he drove off, giving you a nod that left your cheeks even more red than before. Once you entered your house and entered you room, you fell onto your bed. It was unbelievable that you, Y/N, out of people, just went on a date with Dave Strider. Did you actually for once have a chance with him?

Lmao I finally updated. I'm not into Homestuck anymore but I will continue this story for those who like it. This one is my favorite chapter so far but we'll see once we start getting deeper into the story ;). As always, have a good day/night!💕
