Battle Of The Bands

  Kellin's POV

The nervousness has set in big time. All the bands are back stage and they called the first band to the stage to preform. Asking Alexandria is first. they finish and get a lot of claps and screams. next is black veil brides and the crowd goes crazy. Andrew there lead singer is really popular but so is victor from pierce the veil.....i mean all of our bands are gonna be in the lineup for warped tour. after all time low and falling in reverse, Of Mice And Men is pierce the veil, tonight alive, paramore, us, then silverstein. im a nervous wreck right now....this is how battle of the bands works. First 10 bands go out and give their first performance. Then the judges eliminate two of the bands... the bands perform again,and the judges eliminate again and so on and so forth until there are only two bands left and they battle head to head and the crowd picks the winner by voting on a app.The last band standing Is the Obvious winner but they give every band there rankings, then school is dismissed for the summer.

      someone taps me on my shoulder and i turn around to see victor "good luck bro." he says and walks away. for some reason my heart hurts because he walked away without kissing me or showing an emotion other than just friends. only i don't want to be just friends. But it's my fault i told him to keep it a secret. I can't let this distract me from this battle because i really want to win....i just don't think we can win....not like last year we won by default...one of the band members from  a band called Bring Me The Horizon were drunk and got them disqualified and the band broke up and the lead singer left our school and transferred back to sheffield England to start a new band. Last year Victors band came In second but would be third had there not been a disqualification. paramore is on stage now. That leaves just us and silverstein. paramore finishes. "it's go time!" Justin my bass player says and speeds past me on to the stage in front of the already hyped up crowd. I run up on to the stage gaining momentum with every step as i run for that microphone and the crowd screams my name. Here goes nothing and i started singing one of our most hyped songs Low.

     Vic's POV

          I stand back stage as they call my new boyfriends band...im so proud of him. He looks nervous as his bass player runs pass him all energetic. I guess that rubbed off on him because whatever nervousness he had flew out the window as he ran for that microphone he went for it like it was his.

           Its the sixth round only four bands left. Us, Sleeping With Sirens, All Time Low and Of Mice And Men. im getting more and more nervous.  Who knows whos gonna make it to the final round.  They call our name and im back on the stage.

 Kellin's POV

      I cant believe we made it this far to be honest on our last song i was a little flat. But hey the crowd loved us. Its time for elimination again. all four of the bands stand on the stage. Im shaking im so goddamned nervous. I look over to Pierce The Veil and make eye contact with Victor he winks at me and and i blush and look away from him.  I look up at the crowd in front of me who was told to keep quiet so the judges could make their final decision on which two bands to eliminate. I wave and wink at the crowd and they get loud again screaming as if this is warped tour like there fans that don't see me every day. "This is was a tough decision to make. perhaps the toughest decision out of all of  the  ones made in this battle. These are the four most talented bands here. but we have to eliminate two bands...and the those two bands are.... Of Mice And Men and All Time Low. the crowd shouts and screams claps and fist pounds......yays and boo's.  

    Pierce The Veil is up next then Us and then they vote here goes nothing. Vic and his band are on stage and they are  amazing...There's no doubt that they won all ready...plus Victor has way more fans than i do.  The wait is short and before i know it they're calling Sleeping With Sirens. 

 Vic's POV

        I've never herd a crowd scream so loud when Sleeping  With Sirens finishes. I'm kinda jealous to be honest. but you know i expect to win this time....we worked so hard for this...but then again so did Sleeping With Sirens and i know this is our last year at this school and every year they never expect to win and always get pretty close. Both bands are on the stage waiting for the votes to be cast in. and we wait a good ten minutes. "Can we please have your attention the votes are in. "By two votes the winner is .....Sleeping With Sirens! Yes it was a close one ladies and gentlemen." The main judge concludes walking up to kellin with their prize. Everyone clapped as they called back on to stage all of the other bands to stage for ranking prizes.

      In my opinion silverstein was better than Asking Alexandria. But everyone did great especially my boyfriend. we all get off the stage and  we are in the hallway with all the bands that are going to warped tour. "guys we have something to tell you." i said grabbing Kellin stopping him from walking away.  when everyone  was paying attention i pulled Kellin over to me and put my lips to his. And not long after he was kissing me back. I loved this feeling the, the feeling of loving each other and not caring who sees.
