My Happy Ending

Chapter 24

Bella POV (after school)

I walked to Edward in the parking lot. He kissed me and we got in the car. "Where are you going?" I noticed that we werent heading home. "We will walk for awhile.. If you dont mind"

"Its okay" He pulled to a stop beside Lake City Bridge. Its a big bridge over the river in forks. He opened my door and we sat on the bench. I rested my head on his shoulder and he took my hand and placed sweet kisses in my palm

"I love you" He whispered to me.

"I love you too" I kissed his shoulder. We sat in silence just enjoying the breeze and each others company. It started to rain

"Time to go?" Edward asked me. I nodded. We stood up to go to his car but we were stopped by two thieves. One of them placed a knife on my throat the other pointed a pistol at Edward. I started crying

"Take whatever you want just let her go okay?" Edward said putting his hands in the air as a sign for surrender.

The one with the pistol went to him and took everything from his pocket. Then came and took my purse too.

"Which one is your car?" asked the one with the knife.

"Here this one" Edward pointed at his car. "Can you please let her go. We wont do anything I just want her and we will go" Edward begged

He throw me to him. Edward hugged me.

"Bye!" The one with the pistol said and he pointed the pistol at us. In a half a second Edward fliped me and I heard the sound of the pistol. Edwards face was in front of mine. I saw him wince in agony as he closed his eyes tightly. He slowly fell on his knees his eyes remaind shut. I paniced I couldnt move, I couldnt speak, I couldnt blink... I watched the love of my life being shoot right in front of my eyes.

"Edward!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. 

 We didnt have any money or phones or anything and we were all alone in this fucking street.

"Bella" He whispered his eyes never opening. His body was flat on the street. His head on my lap. "Please tell me what do i do?" I begged crying. I coulnt think.

"Find any.. car" He groaned. I ran to the main street and jumped in front of the first car i saw. It stopped. I knocked on the window.

"Please my boyfriend is bleeding on the bridge can you take us to a hospital please" I begged.

"Okay get in the car" he said. I jumped in the back seat because some girl was sitting on the passenger seat.

"Here please pull over. Hes here" I said he stopped the car and I ran to Edward. me and the man helped Edward get up and in the car. The man started driving

"What happened?" He asked.

"He was shoot with a pistol." I cried.

"Okay look Im a doctor. but i know some things. Press your fingers on the wound. It will hurt him but it will slow the bleeding down" I did as he said and Edward screamed really loud.

We arrived at the hospital and they took Edward in the ER. I asked the triage nurse "Is Dr. Cullen here?"

"No he left early today." She asked.

They took Edward to a room and told me to stay outside. I went to the waiting room. An hour later a doctor came out.

"How is he doing?" I asked.

"Hes fine. He was shout in his shoulder but its not surious. He will woke up in an hour or two he can go home after that" I nodded.

"Can I see him?" I asked
