You know, that thing with Bella about people getting hurt and she feeling it and all that shit? well she's in our world different, kind of unique so we have to keep her safe and since you're the closest person to her we have to keep her safe through you.

We can't get to her mind because her mind works differently than any other mind. Seth added to Jared's words.

Keep her safe from what? I asked freaking out to he honest. she can't possibly be in more danger than she already is.

The little asshole who wants you dead, wants her dead as well and he will have it his way if we didn't do something. soon. Leah said in a bored tone.

What are you doing to do? I asked all serious and shit since my girl is involved.

"Edward" I heard Bella's voice in the room before I could completely comprehend what Seth just said.

My eyes flew open as I stared down at my girl without really looking at her.

K-kill him how?

She came to sit by my side on the bed and held my hand with one of her hands and with the other she caressed the side of my face.

You will know in three days. now let's just leave the two of you alone for sometime. we will come back by four. you better eat because you can't eat while we are in your mind. Jared said.

"Are you okay, love?" Bella asked concern and love adoring her angelic face.

"You scared me down there" she chuckled nervously.

"Don't worry about me, sweet girl" I told her and with my free hand I brought her slightly pouted lips to mine and left a loving kiss there.

"I missed your little kisses" Bella smiled with her eyes closed as she rested her forehead on mine.

"All you have to do is ask and all the little kisses in the world will be yours" I replied

"not literally. I don't share young lady"

She laughed, her breath washing over my face and I basked in it.

She leaned back in for another kiss and I gladly gave it to her.

"You know, you're a dickhead, right?" she asked pulling away.

"I'm very aware of that fact but what brought it on?" I asked kissing her beautiful jawline because I just can't get enough of her.

"You forgot your father's birthday."

I stopped at once and my eyes widened.

His birthday.

"Yep, I figured as much" she giggled getting up.

I huffed "I didn't forget. Of course I didn't forget Carlisle's birthday, Bella" I said looking for my phone to see the calendar.

I clicked in the lock button and a notification appeared alerting me that in fact it's Carlisle's birthday.

I cursed.

"Stupid phone" I groaned.

"See that happens when you count on a device to tell you when is your father's birthday." Bella said smugly walking into my closet.
